Your mother, Rebecca Cunningham has a new boyfriend. She says that Mr. Everett is a nice man and that you should give him a chance. He is creepy and weird and you have determined that you do not like him. He has alternative motives to dating your mother and you are determined to get rid of him. Rebecca invites Everett over to your apartment for you to get to know him better. He knows you do not like him. Everett tries to win you over by bringing a doll to you. - You politely accept the doll => 2 - You take the doll and throw it down on the ground in disgust => 3 -------------------------------------------------------------------- *** 2 - I don't like you! *** You don't like the idea of him trying to win you over with gifts but your a little girl and dolls are dolls! You shyly tell him, "Thank you!" Rebecca thinks that everything is okay now and goes into the kitchen to prepare dinner. While still standing Everett tries to start up a conversation with you. "So do you like the doll?" he asks. "Yes, but I still don't like you!" You see a shocked expression show in Everett's eyes. - You kick him in the knee => 4 - You stomp on his foot => 5 -------------------------------------------------------------------- *** 3 - Grounded! *** "MOLLY ELIZABETH!" scolds your mother, "Go to your room immediately!" You glare at Everett and slump off to your room to try and figure out how you will break them up. - Try again => 1 -------------------------------------------------------------------- *** 4 - Knee Jabb *** Everett falls to the ground howling and grabbing his knee. Rebecca comes running in to see what the matter is, "Everett are you okay?" "Oh I'm fine I just tripped over something." He lies. Rebecca helps Everett sit down in a chair at the dining room table where you have conveniently placed some tacks for just this occasion. His bottom hits the chair and Everett hits the roof, "YEOW!" You get sent to you room with no supper. You spend the rest of the evening plotting revenge. - Try again => 2 -------------------------------------------------------------------- *** 5 - Foot Stomp *** Everett jumps up and down grabbing his foot. You back away from him. He is quicker than you think and picks you up by your overall straps. "Listen to me you little imp," he seethes pointing his finger in your face, "you will learn to like me and not give me any trouble or I will send you to reform school when your mother and I are married." You are frightened but bravely chomp down on his finger. Everett lets out a muffled moan and drops you. - You quickly drop and slap him in the face with your doll => 6 - You quickly drop and run away; barely escaping his grasp => 7 -------------------------------------------------------------------- *** 6 - Betryal *** He grabs the head of the doll he just gave you. A tug of war starts! Everett having the head and you with a firm grip on it's legs. In a furious rage Everett rips off the doll's head and lunges for you. "What is all that noise?" asks Rebecca. "Oh nothing poopsie!" Everett calls out charmingly. "Molly and I are just having a little fun." "Can you have less fun?" Rebecca hollers back. You feel betrayed! Obviously Mommy trusts this strange man and you must divide and conquer. You run to your room in tears and slam the door. You put on your Danger Woman outfit to help you think. You need to come up with a way around this. - Danger Woman decides to recruit reinforcements => 9 -------------------------------------------------------------------- *** 7 - Run Away *** You run towards the door with Everett directly behind you. "Come back Molly" he calls. "NO!" you scream running out the apartment door and slamming it in Everett's face. You dart out the door and sprint to the elevator and out of the front lobby. You stop for a moment to catch your breath. - You decide that you have made the wrong decision and go back inside => 8 - Then you run as fast as you can down to Higher for Hire => 9 -------------------------------------------------------------------- *** 8 - Bad Move *** You are just outside the apartment door when you over hear your mother scream, - "Everett where is my daughter?" - "I told you she just ran out the door. Being a little girl she will be back in a moment. She won't run to far." - "She's been gone almost fifteen minutes and you didn't tell me the minute she bolted out the door. - " Everett sighs, - "You give that girl to much freedom. I can make some suggestions . . ." Rebecca cuts him off, - "Let me give you some suggestions Buster! First, suggest you get out of my way so I can call the police!" Secondly, I suggest you call a doctor for yourself. You will need one shortly." You like the way this argument is playing in your favor. - "Mommy here I am!" You call cheerfully. - "Oh Molly! Honey! You scared Mommy!" She drops to her knees to give you a hug. Everett says soothingly, - "There everything is alright. See Rebecca you just over reacted a bit." You see a dark look come across your mother's face, - "Everett I think that you were just getting your things and leaving." For running away you are grounded for a week from listening to your favorite radio program Danger Woman but you have never been happier about being punished.The End - Try Again => 1 -------------------------------------------------------------------- *** 9 - Higher for Hire *** Through downtown and over hills until you reach the docks where you see Baloo napping under the wing of the Sea Duck and Kit fishing on the dock. "Baloo!" you cry out, "Help me!" Startled the tall gray bear sits up suddenly causing him to lose balance and flip out of his hammock into the ocean. Kit runs up to you, "What's wrong Molly?" " Pigtails what's the matter?" A soggy Baloo asks pulling himself from the water. You sob, "I don't want Mommy to like Everett!" "Aww, come here Cupcake" Baloo croons engulfing you with his huge hands, "You can't make your mama do what she doesn't want to. Have you talked to her yet?" "Sniff . . .No" you meekly reply. "Well your mama's probably worried sick. Let's call her and tell her where you are." You, Baloo and Kit head into Higher for Hire to call your mother. Baloo rings your mother's apartment line. He indignantly barks, - "Howdy Beckers!" - "Oh Baloo, I am so glad you called. Molly has ran away and Everett he let her and didn't tell me she had left and I am . . . Could you help me look for her? Please?" - "Already done Boss Lady. Molly came down to the docks to pay me and Kit a little visit." He hands the phone to you. - "Oh thank goodness your okay honey! Missy as soon as you get home your grounded!" You reply, - I�m sorry Mommy I�ll never do it again => 10 -------------------------------------------------------------------- *** 10 - Dinner *** Baloo and Kit take you on a taxi ride to your mother's apartment. When you get there you are surprised that Everett is not with your mother. - "Mommy where did Everett go? - " - "Molly, he cared more about what was important to him instead of what was important to me. You are what is most important to me not some sleazy boyfriend." Rebecca says embracing you. - "Well, Baloo you and Kit might as well stay and eat supper with us." - "Sounds like a great idea Beckers." Everyone sits down to a delicious dinner to enjoy good food and great company. Your mom leans over towards you, - "You know pumpkin your still not off the hook for this one." - "Mommy" you plead, - "if you and Baloo would just go out none of this would have ever happened."The End - Try Again => 1 --------------------------------------------------------------------
