Personality: Mardi is a careless and wild hearted young dog, with a love for humour and good music, especially jazz. He is a very positive soul, and he never takes anything too seriously, which can sometimes even lead him into trouble. Mardi is pretty like his father was back in his casino and gambling days, and he loves to party and have fun every night and day. He's quite reckless, and almost never obeys his parents or plays by the rules.

History: Mardi was born in New Orleans, during the Mardi Gras Festival, and that's where he got his name. He was a very wild pup, and Itchy had to babysit him almost all the time, just so he wouldn't get into trouble. When he was growing up, Mardi developed a love for jazz music, because it made him feel relaxed and down-to-earth. He wished he could some day play jazz like a professional, but he knew that would be impossible, because he was a dog. But when he turned 1 year old, Mardi met a young stray named Elvis, who had the same love for jazz as he did. Together, they decided to start working for their dream, and became best friends. One night, when Mardi was at the bar, he heard someone singing, and decided to find out who was behind that amazing voice. When he finally found where it came from, he saw the most beautiful thing in the world: A female dog, named Roxy. Mardi fell heads over heels in love with her immidietally, but she showed no interest in him at first. One night however Mardi told her they could make really beautiful music together, with her gorgeus singing voice, and his playing skills. Charlie always wanted Mardi to follow his foot steps, and start his own casino, but Mardi was only interested in playing jazz, and just partying all nigth. One night though Mardi found out about Charlie's criminal background, and became so upset that he ran away from home. He ran into Elvis, who wondered what was going on. Mardi told him what had happened, and that he never wanted to go back home again. Elvis understood how Mardi felt, because he once had ran away from home too, and Mardi told Elvis that now nothing would stop from fullfilling their dream.
