Brilliant and excellent movie!, March 31, 2011

So, this is my first proper review. So I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly.

I watched this movie when I was younger and I couldn't stop watching it. I was basically playing it over and over. Now I'm older I can understand the movie properly and can make a proper review about it. So here goes:

The whole movie was fantastic, definately worth watching! The plot, characters, music, animation and almost everything of the movie was great! The animators' work definately paid off, I must say. I also suggest you go and watch this movie to see what I'm talking about.

Below are my overviews of the movie.

Plot- It was such an amazing plotline, it was unique and gave a whole meaning to the movie. I like how it's not like other princess movies that focus on love mainly. Anyways, it was an excellent plot!

Characters- The characters were very well developed unlike some other movies.

Anastasia was a brilliant character since she, as I said before, isn't just looking for love but her family. Her design was also very beautiful and her personality was great!

 Dimitri also was an excellent character brought into the film, sure he wasn't a prince but he still was excellently developed. He was quite a charmer too.

 Raspoutine was an excellent villain in my opinion. He was well developed when he was brought into the film.

The other characters, even though I didn't add their own section, were also very well developed and had a great role in the entire movie.

Music- The music was music to my ears. It was absolutely brilliant! It had a nice tune you could listen to over and over again. I definately remember playing Once Upon A December over and over when I was just a little girl.

Animation- The wonderful animation was smooth and was of high quality. The animators really worked hard to make it good and it definately paid off. Excellent Job!

All in all, it sums up to a 10/10. Once again, it was excellent and I really suggest you to watch it.
