Likes: Kaltag, Racing her cousin Balto by the shipwreck he lives on, the forest, for a snack she likes berries, likes staring at the moon  from 'Bear rock' and more.

Dislikes: Rain, Thunder and lightning, being in a pack of wolves, people who threaten herself and her friends, Steele and Dusty.

Personality: Kind, Considerate, tuff when she needs to be, a long stroller, a risk taker if necessary,  energetic, lovable, doesn't get annoyed easily. a little shy around boys ( especially Kaltag) but usually loud and Interesting and Adventurous.

History:

When Amber was only a young pup she faced the ugly truth that her father was dead, so her poor mother had to do everything for her as their pack wasn't that big. There was only around 6 of them including herself and her mother. Most of them died tragically before she was born in a battle against the many brown bears that suddenly came to their territory.  Amber was only 6 in human years when she first came to meet her cousin Balto. That day, they both had fun chasing around Borris!

It was the next time Amber went out of the forest to see Balto that she saw a creamy brown fur coloured dog with a brown patch on his right eye. She stood and stared for a while and asked slowly and as if its just a random " Who is that? Just a question..." And whistles looking all normal like, when really she was desperate to know. Balto muttered in reply " Oh... Him? Oh, that's just Kaltag. He's not very nice though... He's friends with Steele!", but Amber had only listened to the beginning part of his sentence. " So... Is there anywhere you need to be?" Amber  questioned, hoping he did. " Yeh, actually I do... I'm gunna go watch the sledge race, Bye! call me if ya need me." Balto whizzed off towardes the centre of the town, unaware that Amber was strolling towards the one called Kaltag... ".... And he ran off like a goose!" Kaltag went on as Nikki and Star lay on there back, rolling in the snow,  laughing their heads off. " Kaltag, your awsome!" Amber comed outwith unexpectedly and accidentally, after listing in to their conversation. The three of them all turned around at once. " And who are you?" Nikki asked looking her up and down. " I bet she's one of those stupid spy wolves!" Star blurted out circling her, growling. Kaltag dragged Star by the tail and swinged him behind Nikki." Easy, easy! Guys, she's just a girl. Give it a rest will ya? Know, young lady... What is you name?"Kaltag gave a little smile. Amber blushed. No one in her entire life had called her a lady. She peered over her shoulder and saw Balto heading her way. her jaw dropped! Oh no! Balto's back she thought to herself. If he see's me even near a boy he'll go ballistic! With no finnal comment, Amber sped off to the shipwreck where she awaited her cousin to return.

When she was 16 in human years, she finally had the corrage to talk to Kaltag again. "Kaltag... KALTAG? Where are you?" She bellowed through the streets of Nome. He was nowhere to be seen... But he wasn't the only one... Nor could she find Nikki and star, and the rest of the sledge team. The person she was most worried about was Balto. He never left Nome and she had already checked his favourite places. The shipwreck, The town centre, The alley by Jenna's house and by the butchers. Where were they all? Suddenly, out of nowhere came the black and white husky every body knew. It was just who hated him... it was Steele arising from the orange light of The boiler room. As he padded past her with his head up high she knew something had happened. Something that he enjoyed. She couldn't help asking. " Where is he then!? I know you've got something to do with it! now tell me or i'll?.... I'LL?... I will chop your little fuzzy tail of! Then you won't be smiling!" Amber grolwed. She didn't realy want to but she was saying it as a threat. Steele looked behind him at the boiler room door that he left open. He knew who she was and he knew she was talking about Balto. " Look in there, and all you questions will be revealed" Steele pranced off laughing at her. Amber quickly went to the door. It was  meeting. She didn't want to burst in so she just stayed by the door and peered at who ever was talking. This went on all night.

The next morning She woke up startled by the distant running she could hear. Amber yawned loudly. She pounced up to her feet. She could hear more paws running. Could it be?.... She pelted to the town centre and howled with exitment. It was Balto, with Kaltag and the rest of the sledge team! Ambers loud howls of joy attracted some other town folk and Jenna, Balto's new fiance woke up the others. As the team came rushing in Jenna went to hug Balto. Amber did the same for Kaltag. Surprised with the warm welcome he leaped back. "Oh... It's just you. The young lady I met in the alley way... Whats your name anyway? You never got to tell me..." He did another smile just like before's smile but bigger and more welcoming. Amber blushed again. She faced Balto only to find that he was smiling back at her. She faced Kaltag once more and said in a soft voice all shy like: "Amber... My name is Amber. And you don't need to tell me your name. I already know. I just wanna say Thankyou for sticking up for me in the alley way when your friends were picking on me..."  She licked him on the side of his cheek. Kaltag hugged her as she rubbed her head on the side of him. Kaltag and Amber both walked away together to enter the woods, go to Bear rock and gaze at the moon.... Together!...

The end! Now its present time and Kaltag and Amber are still together!
