Description

Detail Aniu

Unfortunately we know little surrounding this character. It could be Balto's mother. Balto was separated from her at an early age. In the second movie, she often manifests around Balto and seems to have mythical and prophetic abilities. It is suggested she is Balto's spirit guide, and appearing to him throughout the movie as different animals. Muru the mouse, the Raven, the fox, several wolverines, and three bears. These help guide him and Aleu through their journey.

Due to conflicting opinions, this character is separate from the White wolf from the first movie.

According to Dev Ross, the writer of Balto-2, Aniu is the Great Mother of all wolves and a part of the Great Guardian Spirit. Once she was mortal grey wolf, but after death she joint in with the Great Guardian Spirit and became the white wolf and the revered deity of wolves (her love for her pups and pack made her worth to become a totem deity). Due to this information, Balto is a half-spirit, since he already remembered her as white and he just accidentally got lost ("I was accidentally separated from her, when I was young, so I never spent much time with the wolf" Balto accidentally got lost). The wolves themselves never mentioned that Aniu died or ever existed as a living wolf, some of them even refer to her as the Great Aniu. Plus, Aniu is depicted on humans' totem pole. So, yes, she's the ancient wolf deity.

Same thing with Balto's father according to Dev Ross, this character was never developed, but was intended to be just a random stray dog, who never even knows about possible pups after mating and abandoning a female. And sequel itself hinted this, since Balto mentions only his mother, her white fur and warm voice, i.e. he has fond memories about her, and nothing about his father or mother's love toward the husky or husky's love toward the wolf (Balto barely says only "My dad was a husky, who mated with the wolf"), in Wings of Change Balto himself confirms that he never had a father. There's no love between Aniu and the stray dog.
(then why Balto considered himself as a wolfdog and his father as a dog, if he lived and knew only his wolf-mother and never had a father? Balto would consider himself as a normal wolf$ why humans considered Balto as a half-breed instead of regular wolf, if Boris found and adopted Balto, not humans?)

Stating that just to state it is pretty much spam. Unless you were posting in response to the fact that the bio of this character isn't exactly written properly. If so, then you need to make that more clear.

"i finished watching number two again with DINGO'S and my other sister shikane1 and the white wolf at the end is called Aniu and she said that balto was her son thats why im stating that and Aniu and the white wolf are the same but different designs to them and she appears to balto like Aniu does at the end of number 2"

In Balto II, yes, Aniu is intended to be the White Wolf from the first movie. In the first movie, however, that fact isn't entirely true. There is a lot we don't know about the White Wolf. Heck, nobody knows whether or not the the White Wolf is either male or female. There have been many discussions about this character.
