Personality: She has a truly wild spirit and often follows her senses and feelings, which is what guided her to Aleu's Pack. She has a protective personality, especially around pups, and will protect them with her life.

History: She was originally born in the midwest, but a suggestion from a sibling to find their origins in Nome, Alaska, sent seven of them to Alaska, including Aniu. She felt a strong force pulling her towards Nome, where she met Nekai, her great great grandmother. The force continued to pull her towards some steep cliffs, where she came across some badgers, a bear, a fox, and a mouse named Muru, as well as a raven that was flying in the direction of the force, so she followed it to a pack of wolves. It was lead by an old wolf named Aleu. They welcomed Aniu into the pack, where she learned that they had originally lived here, but left when the caribou went across the ice, but they had come back because the food was all gone. Then, the first night she stayed with the pack, Aleu got a message from Nava, from beyond the grave. He prophecized, "A Wolf With The Look Of An Old Friend Will Save The Pack From A Terrible Evil." Before Aleu could ask what he meant, she fell into darkness and awoke. All day she pondered what he meant. Aniu was taught how to hunt by Aleu's Grandson, Raychek. She decided she would stay with the pack, as this where she belonged. Soon, Aniu became an official member of the pack, and was chosen as a fighter. She protected the pack, as well as hunted for them. After a year of being in the pack, they recieved threats from a rival pack, led by a fearsome leader. They wanted more land, as the caribou was running low. There were many squirmishes at the borders, and many of the wolves were injured. One day they took a bold move and attacked the camp, destroying there medicene supplies and the prey they had worked so hard to hunt for. Aleu finally decided that this meant war, and everyone began to prepare, putting many rocks and twigs in the entrances of the caves, on ly leaving a small opening. They moved the elders and the caretakers in the safest cave, along with the wolf who handled the herbs. Aniu strengthened her fighting skills while they prepared for battle, and was right by Aleu's side while they went over battle strategies. Then, one day, Aleu suprised every wolf when she jumped on the rock where they address the pack. She announced that she would be getting a new beta, as their old one died when they crosed back over. She announced, to everyone's shock, that Aniu would be the new beta. Aniu was shocked as well, but accepted her new role. Then, the day of the battle arrived. There was no sign of pups, caretakers or elders, as they were hiding with guards posted outside. The wolves all gathered on the fight grounds, and at the sound of the howls of the Alphas, they attacked. Aniu tried to stay by Aleu's side, but they got seperated. Everyone stopped when they all heard a howl of pain, and they all turned to see Aleu biting into the neck of the Alpha of the other pack. She bit down harder, and he soon began to cough. She ended up killing him, ending the war. A few months after the fight, Aleu's pack met with the other pack in the sacred meeting place, where they gathered to announce things like new pups, or a new fighter. The other pack announced that they had a new leader, the previous leader's son, Aatu. A few weeks later, Aleu decided to resign from her place as leader to retire, leaving Aniu to be leader. She often came to Aleu for advice on things, but one thing was stuck in Aniu's mind. She felt like she was attracted to Aatu, but he was the leader of the rival pack! She decided to ask Aleu, who agreed they should unite the packs. So she and Aleu met with the Alpha from the other pack, and he accepted her proposal. They soon united the packs and is now expecting Aatu's pups.

Relation to Balto: Her great great great grandparents are Balto and Jenna, was in a prophecy told by Nava, and is now leader of Aleu's pack.
