Personality: Candira is a stubborn female but she never does anything to hurt anyone in her pack. She is truth-speaking, kind and fair. In territory fights she often leads the pack. She´s a good fighter but also a caring mother. Also she mostly leads the hunts. Around her mate and her young she´s always motherly, soft and gentle but around the rest of the pack she´s sometimes a bit harsh, she doesn´t mean it but sometimes it seems like she hates the world. She´s always there to help her pack members. She has a good knowledge of healing herbs and plants. She knows which herbs to use to cure several sicknesses but she can´t do miracles.

Likes: Candira absolutely loves her mate and her offspring. Also she likes her pack life and the hunts. She likes to listen to the birds chirping in the morning and the wind howling through the leafs of the trees and bushes.

Dislikes: She hates raining and getting wet. She dislikes being ignored or misunderstood. She distrusted Kenai from the first moment on but her sister was happy with him so she never said anything bad against him. But after he murdered her sister she knew that it was a fault.

History: Candira was born in a litter of 3. Her parents where the betas of the pack. She, Aurora and her brother had a peaceful puphood and lived happy at a small den near the beach. The area around her home was perfectly safe, no hunters where lurking around so she and her siblings could explore the territory without being watched by adults. As she was around 1 ½ year old her whole way to live changed. A rival pack started a fight for that territory. It was dangerous to be out there for a young wolf. Candira´s pack won the fight but living in that territory wasn´t the same anymore. Dens where destroyed, the pack lost 3 members and everyone had the terrible images of the fight still in mind. So Candira and her sister decided to leave her pack to forget all what happened and to start a new. Her brother stayed with his native pack. Candira & Aurora never saw them again. On their trip to the other end of the forest they met Kenai. Aurora fell in love with him from the first second on. But he seemed a bit suspicious to her. The three of them established their territory near a river in the middle of the forest. There where lots of prey so they never had to starve. On a hunt she met a lone male. She liked him. He left his native pack to join an other. Not long after their first meeting he joined the three of them. He and Candira where the betas and the hunters of that small pack. They both had feelings for each other but never made any moves to show the other. They pretended that they where just friends. One day they made a successful hunt but then a thunderstorm came up and they found shelter in a small den. They had to stay there for the whole night. That was when they fell in love. (Or at least they showed the other what they really feel.) About six months later they rose a litter of 3 pups. As her own pups where almost one year old her sister got pregnant. Kenai was mostly checking the territory´s border so Aurora had to raise them almost without the father.
Candira helped her, she knew how to raise pups ´cause of her own litter. While Aurora was hunting food for the pups she kept watching them. The first few times Aurora wasn´t away long but after some time her hunts took more time. Also she had a strange scent on her partly covered with the smell of leafs and wet ground but still smellable. One night she didn´t come back. The howl of her daughter filled the night. Candira and the rest of the pack followed the sound and found  Thalia dug into the blood-red fur of Aurora. She was dead. Her own mate killed her and vanished. So Candira and Raksha had to raise the 10 weeks old pups of her sister. They took the alpha rank to keep the order in the pack until the former alpha´s pups where old enough to fill their inherited rank and to lead the pack. Then they took back their old rank as the beta´s of the Old-Rock pack.

Relation to Balto: She lives in a forest near Nome and the pack´s oldest (Kitok) is the brother of Nava.
