History: Cola was born into the confusing relation of her parents being friends but not in love. As a pup, she often felt like a mistake because it seemed that niether of her parents wanted to have her or any of her siblings. Her mother and father were both good parents, but they had anything but a normal family. Cola went back and forth from living on the out skirts of the woods with her mother and wondering the streets of Nome with her father.

When Cola was still young, she came upon on of her cousins, Freckle. Freckle was only two years older than Cola, so the cousins became very good friends. Freckle became like an older sisters to Cola, and Cola was soon adopted by Freckle's owner Rachel.

Rachel saw the potentail as sled dogs on both of her pets and began to train them properly. Six more female dogs were added to the team, with Cola and Freckle in the lead. Cola was living a dream until one of their practice runs.

With Freckle on maternity leave, Cola was the only dog up front. It was the first time Cola had ever led by herself, but she was doing a fairly good job. That was until the snow really started to come down and turned into an early winter blizzard. Barely able to see a foot in front of thier faces, the whole team (including Rachel) was relying on Cola to get the back home.

Under all the pressure and panic, Cola wondered away from the trail and led the team right to a steep, icy hill. Cola, being the first to step onto the ice, somehow was able to get her paws back on solid ground. She tried to stop the sled by holding her ground, but the harness snapped from the force. The rest of the team tumbled into the snow-covered brush below.

Cola found  a safer way down to the bottom and came to a desperate sight. Less than half of the team was in the process of digging out other members from the snow or the brush while others were trying to clean injuries or adjust broken bones. Cola immediately began to help dig dogs out of the snow.

Rachel, who managed to be almost completely unharmed, radioed in for a rescue team to help bring them home. The rescue team soon arrived and after taking care of major injuries, brought the team back home and straight to the vet office.

Cola stayed in the waiting room with Rachel while the others were tended to.

When evening came, Rachel returned home with her healing team, but Abigal, one of the wheel dogs, did not make it. Cola felt responsible for Abi's death and did not return home with the others. Cola returned to the part of the woods that her mother stayed in and stayed there until morning.

Cola did not expect for newly mother Freckle to come find her the next day. Freckle convinced Cola to come back home and that the others did not blame her for what happened. Of course, not all of the team welcomed Cola back and some of them have a deep hatred for her, but most of them realized that it was not completely Cola's fault. Cola didn't truely forgive herself until Abi's sister had  a long talk with her and forgave her for the small part she played in Abi's death.

Personality: Cola wants to be helpful and is always hard-working. Like her parents, Cola is usually quiet and shy, but also hates to be completely unsocail or alone. Despite being one of the led dogs, Cola does not possess many leadership qualities. She mostly got to her position by being close friends with Freckle. Cola is a very trusting dog and is hurt deeply when another dog doesn't like her or is mad at her.
