History: Eli wasn't always a stray. He used to live in New Zealand, until one day his family decided they should take some of the money they made off of their farm and go on a holiday. Of all the places they could have went they decided to come to Nome. They took Eli with them, and they rented out a room in the local hotel. On the night before they were ready to leave Nome, Eli snuck out to see a girl he had met. of course, she had no intrest in him, she just wanted to be seen as a more gorwn-up dog than she was. Eli stayed out all night, and when he returned to the hotel, his family were gone. he panicked, and looked everywhere, but couldn't find them. To most of the dogs in Nome he became known as 'The Lost Dog'. All he ever wanted was friend since he had no-one else, and he soon got one. One day while he was looking for food in the back-alleys of Nome, he was approached by a large German Shephard. The dog said his name was Flint, and he was a police dog. Eli was scared, in case the strange dog would take him to a Pound. The other dog seemed to sense Eli's fear, and decided to leave him alone. Eli was relieved at this, and continued with his boring life. Another day when he was walking through Nome, he spotted the dog again, with another German Shephard. Eli walked up to them and Flint recognized him,a dn invited him to play with him and his sister Hope. Eli was thrilled, and quickly accepted. Now Eli is Flint's best friend, and the two love to play. Eli isn't so sad now, as he has friends, but he is always ready to settle down with a female or find a human.

Relation to Balto: Lives in Nome and is best friends with Flint, who was a friend of Balto's
