Gale's mother, Kuk'uq, was seduced by a male Wolfdog by the name of Sasuke and had gotten her pregnant. Sasuke deeply loved Kuk'uq but he was too afraid to take on the responsibility of a father and left Kuk'uq to raise two of his puppies and twins at that. He sometimes gets the feeling that he should go back to her and take responsibility for his actions, but he became afraid again thinking that Kuk'uq won't forgive him for using her and leaving her and that she will never take him back, so now his stays away at a safe distance only observing and wishing. Kuk'uq finally gave birth to the twins and named them "Gale" and "Gallus". They take their appearence mostly from their father except Gale has small features he inherited from his mother. Gale and Gallus grew up to be very close brothers.
