Personalitty: Sweet and kind yet always says the wrong things - very  complimentry to girls but often asks questions which are a little too personal and can easily get very clingy to them. With males he is seen as a muscle man - used to defend them if a fight breaks out. Hoff will protect his friends but not harm his enemies - he does not beleive in war or conflict and thinks everything can be solved by a hug.

How he is related to balto & history : He took over Docs position when he passed away as the giver of advice and generally watches over the dogs of nome. He was once infactuated by steele as were all his other fans until it was revealed who steele realy was.He lives with the man who tapped out the morse code during baltos journey to delivery the medicine and is close friends with Morse - the short fat dog whom also lived with this man.Being So large he was often mistaken to be the kind of guy to beat you up - but he isnt. He just wants company - especially female company as he has had no luck with girls at all.
