History: Jack was born to a female sled dog who took an early retirement to take care of Jack and his siblings. Jack's mother never told them about their father other than he was an evil wolf. She didn't mean to, but her litter began to become untrusting of wolves. Because of this up-bringing, Jack and his siblings spent most of their time inside the town of Nome or inside the house.

As each of his siblings find their own cliques, Jack spent time on his own alot. Jack heard stories about the famous Balto, and learned that he had had pups of his own a few months ago. Jack had the idea to see the pups that were only a few months younger than him.

When Jack searched for them, he found out that they were all being adopted that day. Jack went to the street corner that he was directed to, but kept his distance from the family. He noticed that people we adopting them despite the fact that they were part wolf. Jack ran to his brother, Jake, and told him about this. Since both brothers wanted nothing more than to find  a family, they were very excited about this.

The two brother's sat a few feet down from the pups, and hoped that somone would pick them up. No one ever did. This was because the brother's were almost full grown at that time, and they also looked too much like wolves.

At the end of the day, both brother's gave up hope and decided to go home. Jake noticed that one of Balto and Jenna's pups hadn't been adopted either. He wanted to go met her. Jack let Jake go on his own, and Jack returned home for the day.

A few days passed by before Jack came across a female dog that he recognized. The young dog was Balto's daughter, Rose. She still had her the puppy look that Jack was slowly loosing, and she began to follow him around the town. Jack liked the little pup, and since he was still just a pup himself, the two shared a puppy love that lasted for a couple months.

Rose began to grow up though, and she hung around the popular crowd who wasn't very fond of stray dogs. Jack talked to Jenna, who had become like a second mother to him, and she assured him that it was only a phase. But his relationship with Rose didn't improve.

Jack started wondering around on his own again. On one of those occasions, Jack was stopped in the street by one of Rose's mates, Shadow. He taunted Jack, saying how he would never be good enough for Rose. Jack didn't react to Shadow until he commented about Rose having pups. He called her a good-for-nothing slut, and Jack finally lunged at the husky. Shadow's friend came to his aid, though, and Jack was desperately out-numbered. His only hope was to run at his first opportunity.

Jack returned to his mother, spending the night in her house for the first time in almost a year. She (along with her owner) patched up Jack's wounds, but he still bares many scars from that day.

When Jack finally did return to town again, Jake told him that Jenna was looking for him. Jack immediatly went to Jenna's house, and found her watching six pups in the living room. Jenna introduced him to Rose's pups before moving on to the reason why she had called for him. She told him that Shadow had left Rose and that she was currently laying about upstairs like she had been doing for the past week. Jenna begged Jack to go up and talk to her. Jack hesitanted, but finally agreed.

Rose refused to talk to him when he first walked up there, but she soon started to have a decent conversation with him. She didn't open up too much that day, but Jack still came to see her every day after. After many days of this, Rose finally started to come downstairs and be an actual mother to her pups. Jack became like a father to her pups, and they continued to raise them. Jack and Rose stayed together after the pups were adopted, and soon had pups of their own.

Personality: Jack is a down to earth guy. He sees the best in dogs and people, and he is a strong believer in second chances. He is a little distrustful around pure-bred wolves, but he has a soft spot for any wolfdog or stray dog. He doesn't have much of a temper and is very patient. He likes to make others laugh or just feel better, and he is great at giving comfort. He doesn't always have a lot to say, but the few words that he says are usually moving and hold great advice and wisdom.
