History: Jake was born to a female sled dog in Nome, who cared for her three pups very much. Jack and his siblings were very much aware that they were half wolf, but their mother filled their heads with the idea that wolves were evil. Despite his mother reassuring him that half wolves were good dogs, Jack hated the side of him that was wolf unlike his two siblings.

Jake and his family stayed inside the town of Nome and usually avoided the forest because of their fear of pure-bred wolves. Because of this, Jack always wanted to find an owner for himself, but he looked too much like a wolf for anyone to want to take him in.

Months passed and Jake began to grew out of puppyhood. At this time, his brother Jack told him that Balto's pups were being adopted that day. Both brothers hurried to the street corner near the adopting pups and hoped that someone would come by and adopt them too. Unfortunately, the boys were too old to look like pups and they were too wolf to look like decent dogs.

Depressed and hopeless, Jake glanced over at Balto and Jenna, and saw that there still was one more pup inside the crate. Jake told his brother that he wanted to go meet her, so they split up for the night. Jake made his way over to the family, but noticed that both parents were very upset that their daughter had not been adopted. He decided not to intrude on them that night and returned home.

During the next week, Jake made it his mission to meet Balto's daughter, who he learned was named Aleu. Finally, at the end of the week, he got up the courage to ask Balto himself. Balto brought Jake to Aleu, who he was raising on his boat.

Aleu and Jake become fast friends and spent all day playing together. After that day, Jake spent most of his time with his new best friend and spent a lot of nights on Balto's boat with her. He soon become like another son to Balto and Jenna because he was around all the time. Jake never really brought up the subject of them both being wolfdogs, but neither did Aleu, so it was never talked about between the two of them.

As they grew older, Jake met the twins Kara and Sara. The two sisters both took a great interest in Jake, and he went along with it. Aleu, coming into town to meet him one day, grew extremely jealous of the attention he was showing to her two cousins. Jake didn't know how mad she was at him until he went to see her that night and she wasn't on the boat. He became upset with her not being there, so he didn't return to the boat for a whole week.

When that week was over, Jenna came to him and told him that Aleu had run away the night before. Jake was very upset by this and searched the forests near Nome for her. Sara and Kara were annoyed that he was spending so much time looking for her, but Jake didn't give up his searching until Balto returned to Nome and revealed that Aleu had stayed with a wolf pack.

Jake was very angry at Aleu at first for abandoning him. He continued to see Sara and Kara, but he wasn't really the same anymore. Still, he tried to carry on without his best friend.

Nearly three years later, Aleu finally returned to Nome. With her mate and pups. Jake avoided Aleu at first, but she soon found him on the street. Jake admitted to her that he had had pups with both Sara and Kara, but that they had both moved away with his pups. He felt extremely lonely without her. Aleu told him that she had lost almost all her pups in her first litter and that she was happy to have had a second litter. Most of this was said by yelling and shouting, and Jake finally yelled at Aleu to go live her happy life and leave him alone. He run off before Aleu could respond.

After days of avoiding each other, Aleu finally found Jake again. Before he could get a word out, she told him that she was leaving that next morning to return to her pack. Jake quickly apologized for all the things he had said, and Aleu followed suit. After a bit of an awkward silence after forgiving each other, Jake invited Aleu back to Balto's boat just to talk. She agreed.

During that evening, and after much deep conversation, the two of them were very caught up in the moment and mated with each other. When they woke the next morning, and realized what they had done, Aleu said a quick good-bye and returned to her mate. Jake returned to the streets and really tried to live his life again.

He ended up meeting a stray dog named Rea, and they two shared an instant connection, even if Jake didn't want to admit it at first. Finally, when life was starting to work out again, Aleu returned to Jake's life. Along with two pups that she claimed to be his. He agreed to take in his two pups to keep them safe from the wolf pack that wanted them dead. Aleu thanked him before leaving at once, not staying longing enough for them to even have a proper coversation.

When Jake brought the two pups to Rea, she was unsure of the situation, but her kind and maternal nature eventually caused her to care for and love the pups. They soon began to accept Jake as their father, and brought Jake and Rea closer by adopting her as their mother.

Personality: Jake often seems to be the silent, brooding type, but he does enjoy a good laugh and being with fun dogs. He doesn't trust humans or wolves easily because of his past, but he learns to get along civily in town. He is quite the flirt, but he seems to have settled done with Rea and left his past behind him. He tries not to show his emotions, but inside he is very emotional and easily hurt, angered, but also cheered up.
