Personality: Adventurous, cocky, indepedent, very outgoing, trustworthy, friendly and funny. He's honest and tolerant that's why he became friends with Balto. He gets angry quite fast and can be very jealous.

Likes: Balto, wolves, ladies, having fun with his friends.

Dislikes: Obeying rules, hating someone without knowing them, duplicitous dogs(he dislikes Kaltag, Nikki and many Nome dogs for obeying Steele's rules without question then changing side when Balto besomes a hero)

Story: Jared is a homeless mutt that was always living in the streets of Nome. Many dogs were hating him because he was just dirty, worthless tramp in their eyes. He tried to make some friends but most of them were just pretending that they like him. Almost always he found later that they were backbiting him when he was not arround.

He heard about Balto and that other dogs were teasing him just because he was half wolf. He became friends with him and Balto could always have Jared's support. Jared began to hate Nome dogs even more because they were hating him just for being a stray and his Best friend for being a wolfdog, without even giving them a chance. Jared was happy when Balto recieved the medicine, but it also made him angry that all the dogs who were against Balto suddenly became freindly to him. He though that those dogs are worth nothing with their false feelings and he tried to explain this to Balto, but his kind friend didn't think it's wrong and was happy that he finally gained their friendship.

Jared was angry and jealous. He was upset that his best friend didn't want to listen his opinion anymore. He decided to leave Nome that was, what he though, a two-faced village.
