Personality: Used to have such a fighting spirit when he was young. After his first fight he got cocky and lost the rest of them and it took the spirit right out of him physically and mentally tho he tried not to let it on. Now he's still rather quiet and looks intimidating, but he really isn't. He's quite the romantic.

How (s)he's related to Balto: He's friends with Tien, one of Balto's daughters.

History: Obviously used to be a fighting dog when he was about 2 till he was 4 (won 1 out of 3 fights), but went between one or two different families before he ended up with Filat, a Russian ex-musher who now just wants to find gold so he can retire. Filat heard of gold in the east and he and a friend of his took their team of 12 dogs across the ice, including Jeck. When they got to town they sold ten of their dogs and kept two. They found two other men who wanted to help them find the gold, and one of them was a Native American and his dog Kaleo, and a more financially-stable man and his dog Tien. Jeck traveled with the other three dogs and the four men for a while now and is starting to rather like Tien.

Other: As far as human languages go, Jeck can only understand a few words in English, but can understand Russian pretty well.

Jeck is also kind of socially awkward, but will have no problem fighting someone or something else.

Was actually called Jack, but being surrounded by Russians for most of his life, it turned into Jeck due to their accents.
