He's not afraid of anything. He can intimidate when he needs to, and can make even the meanest, toughest dog run away whimpering with their tail between their legs. He doesn't do that often, 'cause he's mostly a nice guy, and only does it when he sees someone picking on Balto. Steele both fears and respects him. Jethro practically has to push his way through crowds of adoring girl dogs every day. He is the role model of almost every wannabe sled dog in Nome. He admires Balto for his accomplishments, like saving the town from that epidemic, and totally respects him.
