Katelyn, or Katie for short,  is a two-and-a-half  year old Siberian Husky who ran away from her home at age one. After living in the wild for a year, she was found by Kodi, who decided to take her in with his friends. After an incident where Katie almost beats another dog to shreds, it was revealed a week later that Katie had an "incident" at age one with her father, who just happened to be Steele, who was chased out of Nome, which caused her to run away, and that her aggresive behavior that led to her almost tearing another dog apart, was caused by  memories of her abusive father. She also eventually develops a crush on Kodi, although he still only sees her as a friend.
