Personality: Mavis is a girl that likes to do things on her own. She is very independent and will do whatever she sets her mind to, even if it'll get her in trouble. She's very hard-headed and can't be influenced by those around her. She's determined to set her own path and won't let anyone stop her. Mavis believes that she doesn't need a guy to be happy, in fact, she'd usually be amused by any guy that tries to flirt with her. It isn't easy to amuse her and is very sarcastic. 

Mavis is mischievous, though more of a trickster than her brother, Chester. She's very spunky and isn't afraid to speak her mind. She's blunt and won't sugar coat anything- ever, not the type to beat around the bush. She isn't very touchy feely when it comes to her affection. She gets awkward in those situations and tries to stay out of them. 

Likes: Watching boys try to flirt with her, her owners, her family, friends, playing tricks with her brother Chester, getting her point across, ignoring others, playing outside with her humans

Dislikes: When things don't turn out how she wanted, when boys flirt with her, being told what to do, when people try to change her mind

History: Mavis was born second in her litter, to her parents, Malcolm and Adorabella. She never really got along well with her siblings. She'd argue and play too roughly, which caused her to get in trouble a lot. She hated it when she was scolded and usually didn't listen to her parents. Growing up, she was always causing trouble. She caused her parents a lot of stress and they worried if she was going to be adopted.

It turned out that, despite her rambunctious behavior, she was adopted first, right alongside her sister, Quil. The two sisters were adopted by a brother and sister who had just moved to Nome from northern Canada. Unfortunately, his sister was deaf, but had him to guide her around Nome. 

Mavis quickly dropped the bad behavior as soon as she'd stepped foot in their new home. She developed a close bond to the human siblings and came to love them. She and her sister, Quil, picked up on a few things that would help their deaf master around the house and she and her sister became the main subject for her paintings. 

Mavis is set up with Edward by his brother Alphonse later on. At first, she's amused and unimpressed with his flirting, finding him rather obnoxious, but she was secretly flattered by it. Not long after, she gets pregnant with his pups and manages to talk Edward into staying with her.

Relation to Balto: Mates with Edward who is the grandson of Apollo, Jenna's nephew; she and her sister are friends with Kodi's mail team.
