History: Melian was born in the poor shelter of an almost rotten bush. Her mother had to give birth to her in that not so safe and comfortable place because Melian was the result of an accident. She was never suppost to be. Her father was the beta of a small pack and liked to "play" with the girls. As Melian´s mother couldn´t hide her pregnancy anymore she decided to leave the pack so her offspring will be safe of attacs from the alphas. After some weeks her mother couldn´t stand it anymore, living on her own and having to care for a pup was too much for the small female. She didn´t have the strange and stamina like normal grown wolves. She knew that she´d never make it to raise her daughter. So she took her and brought her far away from her pack´s territory.  She placed her down in the grass, the strong scent of an other wolf made her sure that she´ll be found soon. She hid behind a huge rock and watched, ready do defend her daughter, in case Melian get found but attacked. Soon a brown wolfess found the pup. She stared at her for a moment and began to search the area. Melian´s mother backed away getting out of sight and smell radious. So the brown female didn´t find anyone the pup belonged to. She shook her head and grabbed the pup heading to her den. She knew, if she would´t keep her the pup would die out there.


Relation to Balto: Melian is the daughter of Niju´s brother
