History:She and her sister Cherry blossom(AKA sakura) were the only survivors of their litter.To make matters worse their mother didin't want them and abandoned them.They never knew her,exept that she was pure white,with a pink nose and she was a stray.Sakura and Mirage were only tiny puppies but they were found by a kind person who took them in and hand reared them.As she grew Mirage was the one that was chosen to train for sled racing,which she loved.Sakura didn't seem to mind;she didn't like sled racing as much as Mirage.
How she's related to Balto:She's on Clarisses sled team.Clarisse is the daughter of Balto.
