Fears: Bears, recieving an injury that will force him to retire early, losing his friendship with Dakota
 

What I plan to do with it: Tai really needed someone to care for him, and I think Mitya was more than perfect. He will be featured in a fanfic that is underway and, of course, will be drawn regularly (since I'm giving up characters that I have no use for). Seneca also needed a mentor or fatherly figure to help her around after her injury. He's no casenova, but he's not really interested in settling down and having a family, however, Tai thinks it's best he finds a female to develope a relationship with because it'll be healthy for him. Eventually Tai gets a young female by the name of Kai (a character still in developement) to hook up with Mitya, although it takes everything Tai knows about females to get the two to actually feel any connection with eachother. In the end, Mitya and Kai will become mates and have a litter of pups just before Mitya retires from racing.
 

Other: He will continue to race for a few more years before retiring. His owner, named Catalin, will also use him to breed before he retires from racing. He and Tai will develope a strong bond and become almost inseparable simply because Tai doesn't feel safe without knowing Mitya is there beside him (in other words, Mitya is the father Tai never had).

Related to Balto: Mitya is a member of Dakota's (Catwhohas14tails's version) sled team in Russia. Dakota is the son of Balto.
