Personality:   Rozene is a very good tempered girl with abundant gentleness and graciousness. (To an extent thta is... She has a hard time forgiving others when something deeply hurts her.) She stays very calm and quiet for the most part, and is naturally Very considerate of others. Rozene prefers to be the one to be approached by others, but can bond with almost anyone quickly. Nearly everyone feels comfortable around her, but Rozene's kindness and respect for others is sometimes taken advantage of. She keeps her emotions bottled up inside of her, but when it's overflowing, she can be irritated quickly and frustrated easily...

Markings/Colorings:   Rozene has a dark red coat with darker ear, front leg, tail, and face markings. She also has very light tan markings on her legs, inner ears, and chest. Mariana has a medium-tone black nose and grey-blue eyes.

Jenna - Rozene loves her mother's sweet love and care. She tries hard to always follow her mother and never judge others just because of their breed, age, origin, etc... Some of the sweetest moments of her childhood are with her mother. Rozene truly loves her and enjoys visiting her often...

Relation to Balto:   Rozene is the daughter of Balto and Jenna and is the granddaughter of Aniu.

History

Rozene grew up with her three siblings in the home of Rosie's family. Balto and Jenna stayed with her and taught her some very valuable lessons. She always enjoyed cuddling with her mother, or begging her father to tell her a story. (Though most were made up so that he could tailor them to her liking.) Her siblings enjoyed playfighting and racing, but Rozene preferred to just watch. (She isn't "girly" or a "snobby" girl, she just isn't cut out for physical labor.) She would endlessly support her siblings and did enjoy their company for conversations and sleeping together. Her childhood is full of precious memmories, but she grew up quickly...

At the age of five months old, a young college student named Olivia chose to purchase Rozene. She raised Rozene with love and dilligence. Rozene always waited for Olivia to return home from her classes as Rozene would curl up on Olivia's lap and fall into a sweet sleep. Olivia ment the world to Rozene and she was always anxiously waiting for Olivia to return...

A full year had passed by, and Rozene herself had changed in maturity and beauty. She frequently visited Penny and Ferdinand as their owners decided that they were old enough to get used to and begin to learn sled dog harnesses and the commands and training involved. Rozene cheered them on, but watched as her sister Penny seemed to have more potential...

Rozene was attending a contest a few months later, when a young malamute caught her eye. The contest was for new sled dogs to compete on a shorter race as a way for their mushers to see how they would react around other teams, and see how well disciplined they were. The malamute made Rozene's heart flutter as he was dashingly handsome. If only Rozene wasn't so shy, she would have talked to him immediatly...

The race began and Rozene wasn't suprised when Penny and her team were the first ones to finish. A few feet behind came the attractive malamute and Ferdinand. After considerately weaving her way through the crowd, she found her siblings talking with the malamute who she overhead introduce himself as Tarrow. She congradulated all of them on their victories and they all returned a thanks. For the most part, Rozene didn't participate in the conversation with Tarrow, but she could hear from his tone and what he said that he was cocky and enjoyed showing off. Other than these qualities he was very attractive...

Rozene gradually developed a huge crush on Tarrow as the months went by, and she watched her sister Penny become competitive rivals in the annual Iditarod. She watched with concern as most of Ferdinand's team were injured and parished in a tragic racing accident. She felt that it was her duty to comfort him as he was immediatly sold to Steele's owner. Rozene disliked Steele as much as her mother, and was grateful when he retired.

The next annual Iditarod had Rozene constantly worrying about her siblings, since Ferdinand was now on Penny's team, as stormy weather creeped in. It was to her great relief when they arrived at the finish line in an easy first place covered in snow and with multiple bloody scratches. She waited another day for Tarrow to cross the finish line, but he never came... Rozene was crushed, but at the same time was hopeful when Penny's team headed out in search of Tarrow. Little did Rozene know that it would be three days before she saw any of them again...

Rozene excitedly dashed to edge of the town when it was announced that Penny's team was off in the distance. She continued to shout for joy until she saw the sorrowful and exhausted expressions of the dogs. She asked her sister what had happened and was suprised when a dishearted Tarrow came over to explain. "My team and I got very cocky during the last few days. We decided that we could make it to the finish line, even with the blinding blizzard. No one could really see where we were going and ended up finding out that we were running aross a frozen river when the sharp edges of the sled cut a thin crack in the ice. My musher made us stop and slowly try to get across, but we hit a weak point in the river and everyone fell in the icy water. I was lucky enough to drag myself and my teammates out as fast as I did. Unfortunately, a few of my teammates had already frozen or drowned and my musher died the next day. I am the only one who survided..." Tarrow explained. Rozene sympathized with him and began to walk a few steps forward when Penny leaned over and rubbed her face and muzzle through Tarrow's fur. He put his head down and his face lightened a little. Rozene was shocked... Penny had become Tarrow's crush during the time of his rescue, and Rozene was hurt and jealous.

Rozene ran to Olivia's small house, where she clung to Olivia and sobbed her heart out. She was heartbroken that the guy that she had begun to deeply love, had deep feelings for her sister. This was something that Rozene struggled with forgiving her sister of, and she began to associate less and less with Penny, Tarrow, Ferdinand, and even her parents...
