Name: Simon
Age: Same as Idunn
Gender: Male
Personality: Very hyper and energetic. He likes to talk, but he doesn't always do it at the appropriate times (I.E. cutting people off mid-sentence). He doesn't do it on purpose, it just sort of happens. Especially when he's excited.
Likes: Herding, being praised for doing good work, warm places and cooked meat.
Dislikes: Wind, coyotes, wolves and bears. Basically anything that could hurt the sheep and put his job in jeopardy.
Story: As a puppy, he was adopted by a family hoping to find a dog who could protect their flocks of sheep. He was taught and trained everything his owners could possibly think of and when he was around seven months old, he was set to guard the flock. Naturally, a young, excitable dog was bound to make a few mistakes. Excited about his new job, he began to run around the place like any young, inexperienced dog would do, and a few stray wolves had snuck onto the farm and killed off one of the sheep. Scared to death, Simon tried to run away in case he got in trouble for the dead sheep. However, after thinking it over, Simon knew he'd probably die in the wild by himself, and had no choice but to stay. It turned out that the sheep were dying anyway and close to their end. After that incident, however, he did nothing but stay on top of his work. He became more serious about his job, and didn't want to do anything to compromise his position at the farm.
After a few years, his owners decided to bring another dog onto the farm to help him, an Australian sheperd named Ozzy. At first, Simon didn't like the youngster because he played a lot instead of doing his job, not to mention he couldn't understand most of his slang speech. But after a while, Simon decided to ease up on the kid, considering he had acted the same way at his age, and it had gotten three of his master's sheep killed. They lived happily for a little while, until their master suddenly died and hey found themselves homeless.
Their owner's wife, an elderly old woman, couldn't keep them any longer and sold them to two families in Nome. Simon was a little saddened by the fact that he and his friend were seperating from each other, as well as leaving behind the place he'd grown up. But Ozzy assured him that they'd still be friends, considering they were both moving to the same town. However this couldn't have been more of a lie. Ozzy met a young girl not long after settling in, and once again, Simon felt lonelier than ever. That is, until Simon met a singlle-mom chinook mix called Moose. Everyone seemed to dislike her in town, but Simon had no clue why. After a while, they fell in love and became mates and Simon finall didnt feel lonely anymore
Other: He was an antry in Skotta's contest for Idunn's brother, and didn't win. But I thought he was too cute a character to waste so I adjusted him a bit.
