About him- he was born on a husky farm, than later sold to a nice family, along with his brother, Durjaya. They moved to White Mountain Alaska. The family seemed to like Talin better, which made Durjaya jealous, and developed a cold hatred for Talin. A couple days later, Durjaya made a huge mess in the house, then got Talin blamed. The family locked Talin outside in the backyard. Durjaya snuck out of the house. He soon came to Talin in the backyard, and lied saying that he found an injured pup. Talin leaves with Durjaya to find and help to pup. When he gets there, and sees no injured pup, he notices that Durjaya was acting weird. Soon a bigger dog came and grabbed Talin. Talin cried out for help, but Durjaya didn’t help him. Instead he smirked, then walked away.
The dog had taken Talin to it’s owner. The dogs owner was greedy for money, so he sold Talin to another man called Henry. Henry lived on a farm with sheep. Talin lived with him for about a year. Henry grew attached to Talin. There was another dog living with them. A female named Gina. She had lived with Henry ever since she was a pup, and she grew jealous when Henry gave Talin more attention. One day, she went to Talin, and pretended to flirt with him. Talin just pushed her away, and rejected her. Gina grew even more angry. The next morning Gina killed one of the lambs, and covered herself in the blood. She took the lamb, and covered blood around Talin’s muzzle while he was asleep. When everyone woke, She acted like she was injured. When Henry and Talin came to her, she pretended to be afraid of Talin as if he was the one that harmed her. Henry grew angry at Talin, then tried to shoot him. Talin escaped.
He walked further and further away from his former home, until he got to a small quiet town called Nome. He lived alone there as a stray. One day, he saw a red husky, Achala. He watched her, but never went to go speak with her. A couple days later, He saw Achala again near a plane. Her humans got on, then it left, leaving Achala behind. He saw how depressed she looked. When she walked away, he followed, still hidden. Soon a couple mean dogs attacked her. She fought back, but she was outnumbered. Talin helped her fight them off. At first, she was rude to him, and told him that she could take care of herself, but instead of continuing the fight, he started a conversation with her. He found out that her owner, Marie, was sick and that her and her mother and father had to move to a warmer place, and leave Achala behind. He offered for her to live with him, and she agreed.
They lived together for a while, each day growing closer, and falling in love. Soon they discovered that Achala was pregnant. A couple days later, Achala never came home. Talin waited for a couple day, yet she never came back. He rushed out to find her and was worried that something may of happened. He soon saw her walking into a house with a human. That night, he went to the same house, he looked through the window, and saw Achala sleeping. He noticed that the window was cracked open a bit. He softly called her name, and pawed the wall until she woke up. When she did, she came over to Talin and confessed that she got adopted, and liked her new home. Talin was upset and hurt. He left Achala, and went back to the boiler room.
After the pups were born, he came to visit. He was proud and delighted. A couple weeks later, he came back to visit. He ran into Achala along the way. She told him that Diana had wandered off. They both ran off to find her. They soon found her near a frozen river. She wandered onto it. Before Achala could do anything, Talin rushed out to their daughter. He grabbed her. He felt the ice cracking beneath his paws. He quickly tossed Diana towards the edge. Diana was frightened, then tried running towards her mother, but she slipped onto the ice. Achala quickly grabbed her and put the pup next to her. The ice cracked, and Talin fell in before he could get back to shore. Talin froze to death and drowned.
