Persona:

Personality: She is a fighter and hard working, she will do anything to get the job done even if it injures her severely. She has even been known to push her team to extremes to each the goal she’s been assigned. When not on the job she is a kind and loving young female, but in truth she’d like to be one of the boys. She is very tomboyish and isn’t afraid to show the males up in a wrestle.

Likes: Long naps in the shed, messing with the other dogs, wrestling with Fox and Slider, and the moose meat they are given ever once and awhile.

Loves: Racing, work, getting the job done, playing pranks on Alex, and making their musher Rick happy.

Dislikes: When the others think she’s weaker then they are because she’s female, cats, Alex (at times), and babies.

Hates: Doing something wrong, making mistakes, when Rick yells at her, and when she messes a job up.

History:

She was born to a champion race dog and a family pet. Richard Rome had never meant for his lead racer and his wife Nancy’s German Shepherd Dog to bred, but in the end we was rather happy with the out come. His favorite out of the litter was a spunky rather maleish female. He named her Tsula for it meant Fox in Cherokee, and as a pup she was as playful as a fox. He knew that she had great racer blood in her and she could one day be a winner. And so her training to become a sled dog began.

She at first didn’t want to train so was reluctant to do so. Wit one of the pups training along side her was the best of his class, and she kind of disliked him for it. She then realized that unless she trained she’d never get better so she buckled down and ran headfirst into sled pulling. 

At the age of four months she was pulling loads twice her weight and could pull it for a good three laps around Rick’s three-mile track. He knew she had it in her, but now she was just proving it and much more. He then moved her to lighter loads, and sleds. He wanted to see just how fast she could run. She completed the three-mile track in less then one-hour and Rick knew he had a true born leader on his hands.

At the age of six mouths she had raced her first race and came in third her mother and father were so proud of her, especially her mother for she was Rick’s lead racer. Tsula was so happy, she knew then that she had out done Wit, and he two was happy for her. Along the line of their playful tassels and training he had fallen for the bouncy, playful husky mix.

Soon a new team was put together for Tsula, Wit was the dog to be right behind her and a new dog named Fox was to stand by him. When the whole team was finally in place there were a total of nine dogs harnessed and hooked to the sled. The wheel dogs were named; Miles and Nina, the swing dogs were; Lulu, Buddy, Nook, and Finn. Tsula was happy with her team, as both her mother and Rick helped in picking them out for her.

By the time she was one year she had proven just how much of a leader she could be. She was a little hard on her team, but it made then push as hard as they could go, and Wit was more then willing to run along side her. The teams were soon build a small name for themselves as some of the youngest huskies known to the races they were winning.

After a while Rick decided to give his young team a break, and went back to using Unega’s team. Fox tried to spend more time with Tsula, but she was to busy training. “Racer, Racer, Racer.” He had said using her nickname. “you need to lighten up, there is still time for play you know.” She didn’t listen to him until her mother told her she could play.

By now another full year and a half as passed and Tsula has made quite the name for herself, and her team. Rick has built her team their own small trophy shed, and has placed a number of trophies and medals alike in side. Both of Tsula’s parents are proud of her, and she intends to keep it that way.
