History: Zak's life story is one of anguish and regret. His life started out like any young wolf's. He was always the pup who stayed by himself and rarely played. He played once and a while but he usually got pushed around. So he he stayed by himself. His first year of life was his best. When he was a meer year old he fell for a quiet she-wolf. She wasn't interested in him, but in his brother. This hurt Zak deeply and he pushed away from his brother. When he turned two he left the pack in search of a mate. He searched for a while until he met her. He was sitting alone when he heard crackling behind him. He turned around and a beautiful gray she-wolf emerged from the trees. She was cream- colored. Her eyes were the deepest blue. He fell for her immediately. She had obviously fallen for him too. Her name was Melani. The two became mates and started a pack. They found no more members so stayed by themselves. she gave birth to 7 healthy pups. Zak was so proud. The seven pups grew rapidly. When they were only 6 months old Zak's world came crashing down. He was restles one night. He though Melani was still asleep but knew she was up when she sighed and stood. He watched her leave the den and slowly crept up. He planned to ask her what was wrong but didnt get the chance. she broke off in a sprint and he followed ,but fell behind. He followed her scent and crouched down in the underbrush. Melani stood in the center of the clearing, and another male emerged from the trees. She nuzzled him softly and he returned the gesture. "How are the pups?" the strange male asked. Zak squinted, confused. "I think they are fine. They should be born around September. You will be a good father to them." It hit Zak all at once. Melani was mates with another male. he had seen her gaining weight the past month. But, he didn't think much of it. Tears began to slid down his cheeks. He waited until the male left and stepped out into the clearing. "How could you?" he whispered. Melani jumped around. "Zak......I can explain."  He looked at her, heartbroken. "Leave." he whispered. Then he shouted at her. "LEAVE!!!!" she looked stricken, then turned and bounded after the male. He never saw her again. He went back home and gathered his pups. he was heading home. There he left his children in his parents care. One would become alpha one day and Zak would be very proud. he visited his children often. So he was out on his own again. No mate, just a empty hole in side him. For 6 months he traveled. Then he met another female. He met her when he was looking for food. She had brought down a caribou. He was especially grouchy this day and tried to take it from her. She stood her ground and attacked him when he tried again. He felt a instant connection with her and apolized. He explained his painful past to her. She felt sorry for him and the two began spending time together. she told him her name was Isis. Not long after they became mates. They ended up having 3 beautiful pups. Zak thought he had found his soul mate. But, it didn't last long. Zak and Isis had a huge fight, and Zak left, planning to leave and come back. He didn't know Isis followed him. He didn't know he was leading her into danger. He ran into a hunter. The hunter was intensely focused on a object and fired a single shot. Zak heard a muffled cry of pain. The hunter walked over to his kill, took one look at it, shook his head, said "stupid wolf", and walked away. Zak's heart plummeted on the word "wolf" He prayed that it wasn't Isis, that it was another poor wolf who had been to slow to move. But, his wish was not granted. it was Isis. the beautiful light gray she-wolf was sprawled out a in a comfortable position, as if sleeping. Zak felt rage, anguish, and guilt rise inside him. First Melani, now.... his only llove followed him and was shot dead. If he hadn't been so stupid she would be alive. He buried her body and mourned her loss. He didn't want his parents to know what happened, so he took his three pups to a friendly local pack. There they were raised and he still visits them. Zak is on his own no, with no where to go. He wants a mate so badly but fears she would meet some disastrous end. So he lives in anguish and guilt. The only things that makes him happy is seeing his pups. When his parents died, one of his daughters from his litter with Melani became alpha. 5 of the other pups also became alphas of other packs. The one that didn't become a alpha was killed by a lone wolf. In his second litter, one became alpha male of the pack Zak took him to. The other two became beta and one was happy with the position as a hunter. His children are happy. Zak is not.

Zak found a she-wolf around his age broken and bleeding in the snow. He nursed her back to health and fell in love with her. They became mates. But Gratia was lying through her teeth. She gave birth to his pup. But, she hated little Dezi. When Zak went out to hunt Gratia killed her daughter in cold blood. Zak saw her rip little Dezi's throat out. In a rage over the death of his little girl, Zak killed Gratia. He buried Dezi, and left Gratia to rot in the snow. Then he left.
