The First Balto Features!

Written by Kirada :

Happy Monday, everyone! (Or Tuesday, depending on where you live. lol)

I promised those four features last week, but wasn't able to sign on Friday or Saturday. So, my apologies. And here they are!

Our first feature is a fairly new artist (but not "too new") who has climbed their way quickly to 60 plus favorites. I am very pleased with watching this artist and looking at their work. Our first feature for fan art goes to ! Zimaro's style is very enjoyable, and in some aspects reminds me of Khavie. Beautiful!

Our second feature goes to ! Even facing hardships with her art, she still manages to create beautiful, well-worked pieces of art for the site's enjoyment. The picture that drove my attention was , a very romantic and peacful picture. Great work, Cat!

Now for our fan images features. Our first goes to , one of few people still on the site who edit graphics instead of render them. I have always enjoyed her images, and I'm sure that you will, too. She pays very close attention to color effects, text placement, and just what the screen capture portrays. Great work, Tibb!

Our second goes to a rendering persona of our community. has very few  images, but that doesn't stop how clean and well-colored they are! The images are very simple, and very easy to look at. What more is there to say?

How-to Guides!
I also promised "how to..." guides. So far, I have made three. All are equipt with visuals and helpful tips. But, keep in mind that these are my methods. You can use your own or find/create one that works better for you.

The first, , gives helpful tips on creating 3D (or 2D) artwork scenery and making your artwork and subject(s) appear to "pop."

The second, , provides help to those who would like to know how to render using the very easily-accessed Microsoft Paint.

The third is one that I created a while back (and I'm looking to re-vamp it). This has the most visuals and many helpful tips. This is very simple and aids with a base, also the "three circle method." I apologize for the art not being up to date - this is why I am preparing to re-create it.

If you have any questions or would like to post your own tips, feel free to do so here or in the designated topic(s). I'm sure someone will be looking for help!

Also, congratulations to our featured artists! See you all next week!
