In case you didn't already know...
The Princess & The Frog is opening today in theaters, in the USA!
So if you live there, well...what are you waiting in front of your computer??? Get out and see it! Now! It's an order! 
More seriously : for now the film has grossed $2,410,820 in only two theaters. (pre-release) which is an impressive amount (but was expected!) We should receive the "real" figures in a few days with its first wide-release week end.
Will it make an honest effort (10-20 M$) or become the highest-grossing 2D animated film of all time? (> 50 M$) We'll see!
But there are some hints that it will perform well : the TIME magazine has listed the "10 best films of 2009", and Princess & The Frog is number 1!

awww, I have to wait till January to come in local theaters. Really
hope it will be success, so we get more 2d animated movies... I miss

I saw it t the studios in the first day it aired and got to meetone of
the animators, besides showing a portfolio review. It was a very

I saw this movie today!!! I loved it!!! It was sad at the end

How did it get such high earnings from only two theaters? I can only
imagine that a lot of people went to see it. No doubt about it, this
is gonna be huge! |

Ahhh.. i doubt i'll be able to see it in theaters - I'll have the dvd
100% though  I'm surprised the time magazine listed it as the #1 LOL i guess the guy just watched it the other day and got too excited xD or maybe it's because he forgot about Lion King, Balto, and Spirit , besides
it's been a while since last came out a 2D animation.. |
