Yea, I'm saving Balto Source with more Balto-related contest.

Your task is to redraw or re-render a scene from one of Balto movies. You can't change the original story though. Your work must show the same event as in the movie.

Allowed:

*Renders

*Collages

*Drawings

*Your own work

Not allowed:

*Images stolen or traced from other members

*Filled linearts/blank renders

*Reusing your old work(s). This have to be something new

*Badly done images/renders with wrong markings etc.

*Fan characters

Prizes:

* 1st place - Render with characters of your choice. Coloured, full-body drawing with background with one character of your choice.

*2nd place - Render with characters of your choice. Coloured headshot with one character of your choice.

*3rd place - Smaller render with one character of your choice. Full body sketch with one character of your choice.

Renders can be requested for other movies(for example for TLK characters)

There is no limit for entries. Have fun and good luck!

Scene where Balto and the team are running back into Nome with the medicine. Wound up getting rather graphic-y on it, but I did draw/paint the picture myself, using acrylic paints for the original picture and a black Copic marker for the shadows. All graphic-y stuff was added via Paint Shop Pro.

Artemisa--from what I understand, your character shouldn't be involved at all. This contest is about redrawing/remaking an official Balto scene. Anyways. Sounds like an interesting contest, I think I'll give it a go.
