I need infos about packs. Why, who, when, for what etc.

Well, honestly, I don't know a whole lot about packs...I'll
tell you the basic stuff, though.

If you own a
pack, then you're responsible for accepting new members and
establishing the rules. You can also choose alphas,
betas...basically, you're in charge of everything. You can
also PM people or invite them on the shoutbox to join your
pack. Most people take some of their pack members and
roleplay on the RP shoutbox. Packs are just for fun.

You know, I've NEVER understood this whole "pack" thing, with the super-secret acronyms after one's member name. NEVER. Sorry for posting this here, but it's been bugging me. And this was the catalyst.
