That's a very cool hairstyle. And it certainly does fit the time
period. |

You do have a point with Duke being a bush pilot, which I failed to
counter in before. |

Then I misinterpreted your post just a bit. Still, as pertains to the movie, not particularly so. I could probably, if I dug hard enough (and right now, I'm a bit busy for that), find examples of hair styles that approximate what we see in how Duke was drawn in Balto 3. He still fits the era. And remember, he's a bush pilot. In a biplane with an open cockpit. Even hair with palmade isn't going to stay put forever. Not with a strong headwind. |

I know the drawing itself is a 1920's hairstyle, I was meaning Duke's
hair in the movie seems more modern in style. ![]() / [...] alto/img_screenshot/109614.jpg / [...] alto/img_screenshot/109617.jpg / [...] alto/img_screenshot/109621.jpg |

Nah - actually, Mighty, that hair could easily fit the 1920s. To
wit: http://www.vintagedancer.com/1 [...] irstyles-and-products-history/ http://www.1920s-fashion-and-music.com/1920s-mens-fashion.html The 1970s featured more hairstyling that was either long and wavy, big afro (even on caucasian men occasionally), or other natural forms. Along with, usually, long and thick side burns. Nothing like the drawing above, in other words. Examples:http://www.bing.com/images/sea [...] +men%27s+hair+styles&FORM=IGRE ---------- This drawing is really quite nicely done! |

I think what makes Duke look out of place is his hair, which seems
more like a hairstyle from the 1970's or so. Nice work! He defiantly looks a lot better here. |
