Humble Beginnings

Here we see a young Vincent and his parents. What a happy family.

(Just kidding. Poor Fawn and Chase got a demon for a son.)

And a little info about them? Yes.

Chase was a sleddog and was often out of town. He was nice, but gruff and never seemed to have time for his young son (or mate for that matter). Vincent hated him. Chase presumably passed away not long before Vincent left Fairbanks. His sled-team was attacked by a bear, leaving most of them dead. Vincent never found out, and Fawn was never told if Chase had survived or not.

Fawn was a housedog who was nice to everyone. Made an effort to reach out to her son, but he didn't want her attention. (Because he hated her too.) Fawn passed away long after Chase and never even thought about finding another mate. (Despite the fact that he didn't treat her the best, she loved him.)

So yeah, enjoy the best family ever!
