Completed today, this was just as anatomy practise that I'm working on. You can use this in Profile Presentations, or gallery presentations.

Only for use on this site, and you must credit me if you do use it. However, to be truthful, this was just made as practise.

The eyes really got me. Have you ever by any chance read "The Dog With Golden Eyes"?

Seriously, they're so lifelike I may never get to sleep now. Nicely done, especially for practice.

Not bad, Wolflover201, not bad at all! You've definitely got potential! ;)

On a constructive criticism note, though, three main things: One, the back legs are too short. In this particular angle/perspective, the feet would need to slope at about the angle as the back. Here, the angel of the front feet to back feet is much, much shallower than that from shoulder to hips.

Second, I think the head and neck might be just sliiiightly too large. All I can suggest for that is simply sizing them down. The head itself looks good (though just as a minor note, the white color in the back of the eyes is usually unseen), it's just slightly out of proportion with the body.

The third point is quite simple, really, and it's a very common and easy mistake to make: the tail is too long/fluffy. Real wolf's tails are relatively short and the fur doesn't quite flair out in that way; it's more uniform and..."compact", for lack of a better word.

Here, and illustrated redline will probably explain it better (though if you don't like me using your picture directly, just ask and I'll remove it.) :

(First pair of blue lines on the side shows the angles you originally used for the back/feet, second shows closer to what they should be--near parallel.)

Hope you find this helpful! :)
