Hm; if you think Luna's family history is complicated, just wait until some of my books are out. On a more direct note, I thought it would make for some interesting character development on Luna's part too, and I liked the thought of her parents as a couple (fortunately, redwolf03 liked it too ).

As for the injury, I'm sorry to say it will get worse... a /lot/ worse.

Wow. Lots to break down. So yeah. the situation with Luna and her bloodlines would indeed be super confusing for any kid that young, and not only that but your daily life would seem like a game of sinners and saints or like truth and dare or something like it because you'd have to choose your words and plan your actions very carefully at all times. Because you'll never know when the wrong person might overhear them or see something that they were not supposed to witness. Also the accident at the beginning. Yikes. Good thing that didn't turn out any worse than it did.

I know I already answered your comment in private, but I figured I should give a oublic response too. I consider it high praise from someone with far more overall experience in the field. It's good to know that I can successfully keep my stories "intriguing" by such standards as yours while still maintaining the family spirit that made the Balto movies, particularly the first, what they were.

I wonder why I still hadn't read your fics until now, DT... So far, I can definitely see why readers love your stories and why they're so popular, even more than mine! The new characters [Toby, Luna and so on] are very unique and have their own interesting quirks about them, the official and even more familiar fan characters [such as Taya and Copper] are true to the films [and I thank you for keeping them that way! Not many can successfully accomplish that.] or original fanworks of their origin, and the story and motives are very intriguing. You keep the same spirit of the films within your stories, while adding more complexity and drama - I just love it!

I hope that by reading your stories, my own works will show some improvement in the future. Please keep it up!
