Fursona design
.::Edit::. Got rid of those dark stockings
Care to help me? Have an idea how to improve the design? Tell/show me! But remember, I�d like to keep it as close to the original one as possible, it�s that face marking that�s bothering me somewhat.
re-designed my fursona. Which one looks better?
Not sure if I should keep the original design or go with the new one.
Some thoughts & facts about these
The new one isn�t so bland and simple.
it�s inspired by my character Isabel terrana�s design.
Already made a prototype version of this ages ago: /images/users/15370/New Jordan.png
Simplyfied it to make it look more like some mix of Isabel and my current fursona�s design.
The original design was made back in 2009 and haven�t been altered since (excepts for the eye color)
It�s nice and simple and not too complicated to re-create.
The necklace was added later
there is a touch of nostalgia to the original design.
Tail and fron leg markings are alike on both designs.
The new desing uses the same grey tones with a 3rd one added
So there each design has it�s advantages, so i really have no idea if I shoul keep the old one the way it is or use the new one from now on. I like both and no, before you even think about suggesting. I am not starting to make a second fursona.

I like the second one, Jordy. It does have some more detail in its
coat, and what you've done with it really is nice. |

Thanks for your opinions, guys. I think I have an idea how to alter
the design without making it look too different now. Not sure if it�ll
work out yet so I�m gonna sketch and maybe even render her head/face
from different angles to see how it looks. It won�t be much of a
change, Jordan will pretty much stay the way you guys know her. (But I
think I�m gonna keep those darker ear markings) |

Yes, sorry Jordan, I am having to comment like this, I'm having
problems logging in. Most of us are very attached to your old fursona design, it really does suit her. The original one does seem more original and unique now, to the new one. But those are just my thoughts. Like I said before, it's down to what you think, and what you feels' best. Keep thinking about it, I know whatever you come up with will be fantastic^^ |

I still prefer the old Jordan. That's how I remember your fursona,
Jordan. And yes, I've seen the new one lots of the time actually. So

I like the original best. It's what i remember Jordan as, not the
other one. Also the newer version is everywhere on balto source. I think the original is more original, haha. But yeah. That's just my thoughts. |

Wolflover> Thank you for your opinion here. And don�t worry I didn�t
take your comment as any kind of attack. I wanted to collect opinions
and ideas from other members to help myself decide. I am fully aware
that in the end I am the one to decide about the final design. I am quite attached to the original design too, it�s been my fursona design for years now but somehow I felt like there�s a need to change it. Whenever I look at it that facial marking just looks impossible to me. And trust me, in case I decide to change the design I will stick rather close to the original. Between your and my comment I did apply some new changes. As you can see, those dark stockings disappeared and the old markings on the front legs are back. I did keep the lighter marking on the inside of her back legs to make it fit to the belly marking. That way the new design still looks close to the original. It think I�ll just need some time to really think about the change. Who knows, maybe I�ll only alter that face marking to make it look better (NOTE TO ALL: Suggestions are very welcome) and leave the rest the way it is. |
