BE WARNED, I have rather harsh opinions on some things, and I stand strong by what I like. Please don't comment if you're going to complain about things I like or dislike. This was made just for future reference if anyone was wondering. These are NOT meant to offend ANYONE. So don't think I'm singling anyone out, these are just my thoughts on things.
Now anyways..
To start things..

Jenna/Steele
Why? = Jenna and Steele would've made the movie MUCH more interesting. Mainly because they always make the good guy get the girl. If you look at Jenna's appearance without knowing her personality, she looks more like a devious and snobby type. Not to mention I absolutely adore love/hate couples, I think those two might have had something going on before Balto. If they would be together, I can imagine Jenna turning into a gloryhound and have a little more personality (which I would find amusing), and Steele becoming extremely protective over his girl.

Ralph/Dusty
Why? = One of the few canon ships that I actually like. Their playful and funny personalities together go along quite well. Nothing is really serious between them, and they know how to make each other smile. I'm sure it would also make the team feel a little happier, as the two both seem quite optimistic together.
Star/Dixie
Why? = I have a feeling that Dixie would probably only want Star due to him being a lead dog on one of the most well-known sled teams. Star on the other hand, probably wouldn't know how to deal so well with a fangirl all over him as he hasn't had a girl before. Eventually, Dixie would come to like Star's goofy personality and realize there's more to that than just his fame (even if she's still partially chasing after him for that). The two get together, but they're not extremely romantic. Headcanon is that Star would be an extreme gentleman, and Dixie being very grateful of whatever Star does for her. He would notice how shiny her fur is, or if she had a new collar and she'd compliment her sweetly on that. That's pretty much all she needs anyways!
Sumac/Aleu
Why? = It would be VERY amusing. I can see Sumac just annoying the crap out of Aleu.

''Shut up already! You'll scare all the caribou in the world away from here! ..But thank you.''
Not to mention, they're both scrawny and mangy fleabags. I'm sure they'd be able to get along after awhile.
Yak/Aleu
Why? = Another one of those funny annoying ships. Even in an important time or situation, I can just think of Aleu correcting Yak's grammar.

''..You're kidding, right? Did you mean the caribou are missing?''
''Oh.. Right..''
I also think they'd just be adorable. Yak would be an inexperienced leader to go along with Aleu, and they ask him why he would be together with Aleu, but he would defend her. Yak would be very loyal to her, and he makes up for in love what he doesn't intelligence.
Dusty/Nuk
Why? = It was never canon, but I think Nuk's amusing personality would go well with Dusty's. I personally ship Dusty with the chunkier characters to be honest LOL. They'd be cute and funny.
Dixie/Terrier
Why? = The terrier is a small dog who only got a few minutes of screen time. But from his amusing, personality being portrayed for that time was enough for me to think that Dixie would have her paws full with him. They'd be amusing. xD
Sylvie/Steele
Why? = After a while, I'm sure that Sylvie would hang around Steele. Notice how she wouldn't care too much about his fame, but more for his appearance. She lusted for him after a while, and I can only see Steele breaking down and letting her be in a relationship to at least prove that he can still get someone.
Mel/Dixie
Why? = They're pretty much an old married couple. They're just amusing together and act like they're in a relationship always. It's funny, and it made the third movie actually slightly better.

Why? = After seeing this time, after time, after time, after time.. It gets a little boring, you know? And really, they're overrated a bit. Sure, they're a cute couple, hero gets the girl and all.. Yes, I like them, but they could've had some more movie development. They're not a horrible couple though, definitely not saying that.
Aleu/Niju
Why? = Niju honestly doesn't seem to be too interested in anyone and not to mention, he couldn't stand Aleu. He was a fiery, annoying dude who was a so called antagonist or whatever and just got in the way of things. It's not a bad couple, they'd just need a really good fanfiction for me to actually really pair them together.
Boris/Stella
Why? = It's just kind of annoying. I'm glad Boris got his own time in the movie and all, but if he was just supposed to be a backup character, he sure got a lot of time in the third movie with this.. Sassy goose, Stella. Boris and her really just didn't click. I don't mind them though. After all, Stella's the only girl that would really hang out with Boris. Phil should've used logic and just seen the first movie before he created the sequels, that's all.

Kirby/Kodi
Why? = They were friends. That's it. They weren't even romantic at all in the movie, and these two as a couple is more like an obsessive furry's dream. They just annoy me. Kodi wasn't a loving type, and Kirby was just annoying, and it was clear that Kodi just saw him as a teammate over a friend or anything.
Balto/Steele
Why? = I just can't see it happening. Steele HATES Balto. There's no way he'd have a sudden change of heart after Balto took all of his glory to be buddy-buddy with Balto (to be honest, neither would I). And Balto, in his right mind, wouldn't feel that way for Steele.
Balto/Aleu
Why? = That'd be incest. They were on a father/daughter level. There was absolutely nothing intimate in their relationship, and there never should be. I feel the same for Balto/Kodi.
Dusty/Aleu
Why? = Dusty would definitely see Aleu as a pathetic cry baby who doesn't want to grow up or grasp the reality of things. Aleu would see Dusty as an uppity snobby goody-two-shoes. It just wouldn't work. I know some people like girl/girl couples (as do I), but really..
Aleu/Steele
Why? = It would just be so weird. Balto's rival being mates with his daughter who has a personality not too many can handle. Steele would definitely see her as a brat, and his phobia of wolves on top of it just wouldn't fly. Aleu would also hate Steele, as I'm sure Balto tried his best to keep his daughter away from him and the reason why. I think a rival relationship between those two would actually be really neat though!

Why? = This is probably one of the most screwed up ships I've came across. Brother and sister incest with the two that have only seen each other once in their life as kids. Then they went their separate ways and forgot about each other. That's it. The end. No coming back to randomly be mates with your brother, or endlessly hopping on extremely suspicious icebergs to find your sister. Siblings and that is it.
Kodi/Dusty
Why? = Kodi and Dusty just were not meant to be. They smiled at each other a few times. If you smiled at a friend at your work or dare say, had a conversation with them, you'd be in love with them? Yeah, I honestly don't think so. Not to mention, Kodi isn't the love type. He loves his job more than anything. Dusty doesn't really care for Kodi. You see how she spends more time with Ralph. I think the only reason that people ship them really is how Dusty and Kodi would have ''pretty babies'' or ''they look cute together''.
WQ wolf/Aleu
Why? = You can be a lot more creative than using a Balto clone with different colors than Aleu's mate. Use your imagination. If you were able to think up such a ship, you can think up a design with new colors and history.

Thanks bro xD Hmm, Kaltag/Jenna would be okay if it was very well developed. Jenna was a more quiet/timid character, where Kaltag was loud and rowdy. It would be a difficult relationship, but it is possible in my opinion. |
