You'll be In my Heart

After being driven out of the forest by The Great Prince, Iris secretly returns to look for her son, Malvon. Finding him nestling under an oak tree (with a bleeding neck, but alive). A doe was sleeping close by. Smelling Edna's scent on her fawn, Iris realized that the doe (whom she had been recently fighting with) had adopted Malvon after freeing him (with the help of The Great Prince) from the snare.
Iris knew that she could not explain to Malvon that they had to leave the forest (being mute), and she did not want to wake up Edna. So she had to leave him. Managing to get near him, she gave him a kiss to say goodbye, and promising that they will meet again someday, somehow, with a grieving heart...she left him.
