Ammet, all grown up, does some exploring with her sister, Flinder . . .
Flinder sauntered along the forest path, enjoying the warmth of the summer evening, eyes half-closed and ears flicking off flies. She listened contentedly to the careful little beats made by the hooves of her young sister Ammet, treading behind. In time she picked up another sound, that of running water.
''Ammet, we've got a stream to cross . . . Ammet?'' Flinder turned around in some surprise. Her sister had disappeared. ''Amm, where are you?''
''I'm here!'' came Ammet's voice.
''Where?'' demanded Flinder, pacing a full circle in bewilderment.
''Behind the hanging willow branches. It's lovely under here!''
