Well it all started on one of the hot summer eve's in late July. The air was warm, with a slow light breeze and the air tasted of a long ending summer. Chamlain had just woken up to the sunlight hitting through the window. He yawned as he got up and stretched out his limbs. He walked down stairs lightly to go peek out the window to see what the day had brought upon him.

Biloxi and her older brother, Socks, woke up to the sound of loud, rickety trolley wheels.

"You said that you found a safe QUIET place to sleep!", Biloxi snapped at Socks.
"Well, I don't know the trolley times!"
"*sigh* Well, come on. Our stomachs aren't gonna feed themselves."
"Well, the price is just about worth it. A walk through pet dog country..."
Biloxi and Socks crept around the edges of the trolley station, making sure that they weren't noticed. After 10 minutes of signaling eachother, they finally made it into "Pet Dog Country".

"Look at all the houses!"Socks exclaimed,"I wonder how much food is in those."
"Shut up. The quicker we get to the Fish Market, the more we can eat."

Biloxi stopped and stared at a dog through a window...

Champlain staired at the Trolley that just had passed by. Then something caught the edge of his eye he looked to see two dark objects that semmed to be moving closer. Champlain began to bark loudly, but to notice the window was open. Champlain forgot that Kessy was supose to come over any moment! He ran down the stairs and right before he got out the back door h ran smack dab in to Kessy. "Oh hey Kessy!" He smiled. "Just go inside! I'll be there in a sec!"He said as he dashed on toward the dogs he saw oustside.

"What 'cha starin at?", Socks hesitantly asked.
"Uh, NOTHNG," Biloxi snapped

Just then, Socks realized that something was coming towards them.

"Uh, what's that?"
"You and your cataracts. It's a dog... One of those pet ones too..."

Biloxi looked at the dog, and glanced at it's blue collar.

"Hi.", she hesitantly said.

Champlain stopped before he got too close to the starnge dogs that he knew nothing about. [i]What am i doing? Have I seriosuly lost it? [i]Champlian thought to himself before he gained the workds to speak.
He walked a bit closer then stopped and sniffed them to smell that they were no danger.
"Well hello there.." Champlain spat out before he could notice what he had said. Champlian noticed that one of them was a attractive female.

"*cough* Well," Biloxi started," I'm Biloxi. This is my brother, Socks."

"Hiyah."

"He has cataracts, so he might mistake you for something else.", she whispered in Chamlain's ear.

Champlain looked at her and shook his head.

"Well I'm champlain! I saw y'all scavingin around here? Would you guys like to come up and get a bite to eat? We can talk more up there?"

He smiled then sat down and tilted his head to wait thier awnser.

"Thank you!", She said with a smile.

Well they headed up towards thier house on the corner of the end of the street. Champlain smiled to see that they followed. "Well here's my house, nothing much but it works!" He croaked. "Follow me!" He said as he walked up the stepes to the porch and inside the doggie door.

The two of them sat on the porch, and stared at the contraption.

"What's that?"

"I really don't know..."
