I recently got a chance to interview the writer and co-creator of a show on Cartoon Network called A Kitty Bobo Show, Meaghan Dunn. The show was in a contest in 2001 where the winner would be a show on Cartoon Network, which it lost to Code Name: Kids Next Door.

1. What was it like writing the pilot for A Kitty Bobo Show?
Writing the pilot was a lot of fun and was a very collaborative effort as we included a lot of friends that would be working on the pilot. We also included our own personal tidbits of information throughout the episode.
2. Are you still trying to pass the show off to other channels? How is that working out?
The show originally aired back in 2001 and we did try to pitch it to a few other studios that also optioned it for a short while and passed. It continues to be misunderstood. We have moved on to new projects.
3. How did you feel about your cartoon not winning the contest?
Losing the contest was a huge disappointment but you move on and continue developing other great ideas.
What do you all think? Is it a good show?
