Along with the movies, I have the 20th Anniversary t-shirt that I made back in November thanks to CustonInk.

I only own the first two movies. I had to drive about 1 and 1/2 hours to a barnes and noble to get it but it was worth. Sometimes I wish I lived in the city.

What I really want now are movie cels from the original be a great thing to have in my house.

I'd love to have a Charlie plush to huggle ^^
But alas I only have the first two movies and the Christmas special on DVD...

The only stuff I have is a All Dogs Go To Heaven 1 & 2 DVD box, erm, thing, and then the ADGTH 2 soundtrack. I'd love to get the first soundtrack legitimately, but it's hard to find it for a price that's affordable. Sometimes I see that thing going for near a hundred bucks, X_x! I don't know, maybe I have Charlie's nature of being cheap, XD.

I have the VHS of all 3 movies and 3 VHS tapes featuring 6 of the series episodes (I found the series tapes in Syms, of all places)

I want to buy the DVDs, because, sadly, VHS tapes are getting harder and harder to play without breaking. Thank goodness my dad still has a VCR.

Huh, I have something very similar to that for American Tail. I think mine's better... probably cause they take greater care in their products then.
The ADGTH 2 one has nice backgrounds, but really wonky anatomy o_0

That press release is cool. I love learning about the creative process behind animated films. And hearing voice actors talk about their role is always fun.

They put an awful lot of work into the music of the films it seems too, great posts! You've got a great collection there, thanks for posting!

I found very rare box on ebay.. And finally it is mine

In 1990 MGM/UA had advertising campaign of ADGTH with Procter&Gamble's Downy markets. And cartoon promoters received this:


ADGTH t-shirt, ADGTH promo VHS, ADGTH theater poster (not included on photo), ADGTH banner, ADGTH lunch box, ADGTH thermos, mail from MGM sales director, recomendation for promouters, pack of 100 coloring sheets for one of promo actions.

oook. Now with the amount of advertisement.. done on the movie.. Its a bit odd. How is it possible that it got under mined? I'd really like to hear a possible answer that explains it.. Little Mermaid couldn't possibly be THAT good to have so much promotion undermined. Not a kids movie.. not really The great mouse detective had similar scenes so That can't exactly explain it.

Ugh you guys... guess what I saw at Wal*Mart today for $5.



Now I don't like to criticize unless I can do better myself, so I feel COMPLETELY comfortable saying, this cover art looks HORRID [and that's putting it mildly].

I didn't get it for I already have them, but even if I didn't [and I don't CARE how cheap they make it and in a convenient two pack], I wouldn't get it.
Sorry. The criticizing artist in me had to say something. And thought maybe you'd like to laugh at it too.
