Did you see Brother Bear at home or in the movie theatre? And what was your first impression of the film?

^LOL! Nice I actually saw it in the theatre and of course I liked it. But I was little back then and so I had to re-watch it at home to realize how truly amazing it was! It also helped that when I saw it at home I watched it in English lol.

I saw it in theaters, but like BuffyWolfie I was young and didn't fully appreciate it like I do now.

There was a private screening of it at my summer camp in 2003. I saw it then. LOVED it, it was my new favorite movie! (still really high on my list even now)

I saw it at home, since back then I was "too cool" for animated movies to go see it. But then I got over that mentality and bought the dvd.

I sadly couldn't see it at the theatre because I was rather young and, well, going to see a movie there was really a rare thing, unlike now. I had to wait when it came out in VHS/DVD to watch it for the first time. A family friend had just bought the DVD and he lend it to me, to watch it, along with other movies. I've really loved it, for everything, the bears (my dad liked it too because he really adores wild life and ancient legends), landscapes, the story, the songs (I recognized Phil Collins from Tarzan). But I had to give back the DVD at some point. Apart from seeing it on TV maybe once, I didn't lost interest in this movie, I don't know, I've always liked it but I had other movies waiting to be bought. This interest caught me up again not long ago, actually when I was at the seaside and I doddled down some bears. I couldn't find the DVD anywhere in the stores! D: And I didn't want to buy it online, it would take too much time. Luck wanted me to go to a rather big and accessoried supermarket full with Disney DVDs two days ago. Of course, I bought a copy of it! ;D

I'd been wanting to see it for years but never got the chance until recently. It appeared on the Disney Cinemagic channel along with #2 so I recorded them and watched them over a couple of days. I loved them (#1 more so). In fact, Brother Bear 1 had me in tears at one point, ... the 'truth is told' bit. I loved the song that Koda starts and finishes too... what's it called? "On My Way" or something? But yeah... fantastic film. Funny, emotional, epic. #2 was really good too. Even though I accurately predicted how it would end about half hour in, I still enjoyed it immensely. Maybe I should NOT buy the DVD, and instead get the Blu Ray....
