If you're going to San Diego Comic Con, this is something you SHOULD NOT MISS! http://comiccon2013.sched.org/event/bda ... dm0NflSjZ4Life is like a hurricane! Spin it! When there's trouble, you call D.W.! It's been more than 25 years since Disney Afternoon debuted on television screens, and the impact of "the golden age of Disney TV Animation" is still felt today. Let's get dangerous with Tad Stones (creator, Darkwing Duck, Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers), Jymn Magon (DuckTales, creator of Talespin), Bob Schooley (co-creator, Kim Possible, co-ex producer Penguins of Madagascar), Rob Paulsen (voice actor, Darkwing Duck, Animaniacs), and Aaron Sparrow (Darkwing Duck: The Duck Knight Returns) for raucous recollections and never-before-heard stories! Why do I have the feeling they're going to announce something there? Even if they don't, it's so cool to see the Disney Afternoon getting more recognition these days!

Omg! Too bad I live in the South, wish I could go! Any DVD offerings or merch? Or is it just Question and Answers?

Mouse Info has the full video here: http://www.mouseinfo.com/forums/content ... -2013.htmlYou will need a Youtube since the video was in private. Livejournal is being cleaned up at the moment of this post; so my notes are not shown yet and while most of it should still be there (since I saved most of it before the cleaning); the closing opinions on the panel are probably erased because I posted that portion during the cleanup. Short version: If you are a TaleSpin fan; you are going to be beyond the pale disappointed by this; unless you only cared about seeing Jim Cummings doing Louie's voice against the lawsuit that was filed against Disney with the Prima Estate. After this; I left thinking: Howling Mad Heather was right all along; TaleSpin was and still is woefully underrated. And this panel is evidence #1.

My gosh, I've seen the video and I've gotta that it was awesome. I didn't knew all this stuff and I was really happy just by seeing this video. I didn't knew how you had to introduce your idea to company, with the cardboards and this will serve me because I'm studying animation. I was delighted with the video, and just to hear Jim Cummings and Rob Paulsen voicing their characters thrilled me because they're such great talents and I want to become a voice actor and participate in this kind of stuff. Shame they barely mentioned Talespin, but I have to take in consideration that they were running out of time, and I'm surprised the fandom that DuckTales to these days. Thanks again for showing this, I love hearing Gusto Gummi and Darkwing Duck. I hope to study abroad and have the chance to be at these event.

As much as I'd usually agree with that, I just think they ran out of time. They started with Gummi Bears, then talked Ducktales, Wuzzles, showed the Goof Troop pitch, then Rescue Rangers, some questions and it was already over. They actually didn't get to talk much about Darkwing Duck either! Proof is, Aaron Sparrow twitted this right after : "Next panel we do, I'd like to pick the brain of @Finetooning about Talespin." All in all, I'm not too disappointed because as long as the Disney Afternoon as a whole gains popularity again, I'm sure TaleSpin will eventually get some new stuff I'm more disappointed that they didn't announce anything, but this will happen one day or another. Oh and look at that!!! https://twitter.com/lurkyloo/status/359 ... 44/photo/1
