I never really saw myself collecting Minion items, but that appears to be the case XD

I don't have any photos of my items, but here's what I have:
Despicable Me DVD (came with an inflatable minion)
Despicable Me 2 blu-ray/DVD
Minions movie poster
Despicable Me 2 poster
Minions junior novel
Water bottle
Stuart figure
Bob plushie
Three McDonald's talking figures (pirate, guard and Egyptian)
Hat

Just the DVD/Blu-Ray combo packs of the two Despicable Me movies (including a special release, with a villain handbook, produced for the Target corporation: http://www.target.com/p/despicable-me-2-blu-ray-dvd-digital-with-digibook-and-bonus-disc-only-at-target/-/A-14927564) and a gray Despicable Me t-shirt with the following official art on it:





I'm not really a collector type. It comes across a bit too geeky for my tastes and interests. But that's me. It doesn't necessarily bother me so much that others do it...unless they're adults (young or otherwise) who get into collecting so much that they deny those products to children...for whom the products are actually DESIGNED, and by whom they are meant to be played with. Not kept locked away, untouched, inside "the original packaging" and "in mint condition". To me, that's just weird. They're toys.

I can see how some may find collecting things to be strange, and that's okay. Of course I'm no hardcore collector who keeps items in their original packaging either.

Again, only if it goes to extremes. Unfortunately (and perhaps predictably), it appears to happen with great and disturbing frequency in fan communities.
