I was just searching through Family.com for random stuff and what do you know - I found a DVD review for this movie! So, I got curious and read it... and I was surprised that the reviewer seemed to see the positives of the film, and not just the nit-picky negatives of the animation and other flaws. I laughed at the last sentence though - Balto, as much as I love him in the films, was given quite a wimpy voice as the "hero"; maybe it's to counter Aleu's childish and whiny one? Here's the Review on Common Sense Media's website!Off-topic, they have a review for the first movie as well, but not the third. I'm surprised. Not sure if anyone had mentioned either of these, but I'm glad that both films are given the correct respect they deserve. - Juuchan17 [and yes, I'm sorta back now. Missed y'all~!]

Good to see someone else FINALLY giving some love to this film. easily my favorite and the most relatable of the 2 sequels. Its just a shame really that people cant seem to see through the little flaws how good this film is and how valuable of a lesson it teaches. I agree 110% with the review there. nice to see a LESS critical review for once.

Thank you! I am so glad I'm not the only one that thinks so!
Heck, I notice the flaws too, but I can definitely see past the mistakes in animation and character and just enjoy the positive message it ends up teaching viewers - learning about your heritage, accepting who you are [which is a part of the message from the first movie], and a powerful film for parents about letting go of their children so they can achieve the destiny that awaits them.
I even see religious meanings in the film too, though I don't think people realize that. The spiritual meanings of the animals secretly help guide the story along too, and it makes you think that the end will go one way, but it surprises you. I know it did for me!

I was fine with the movie, but the animation had a lot to be desired...

I don't really like reading reviews of movies I like that weren't exactly big hits because I know there's going to be a lot of negative reviews. Even though I still think WQ and WoC could've been better, I still get upset when all I see are people ranting that the movie sucked.
