What is the difference between Forex trading and the Share market?

I think that the difference is quite obvious. While forex trading occupies with selling or buying different currencies, the share market is about getting shares of a particular company. I think it's better to get shares if you want to save your money and be in the profit in the long run. Forex trading is a quite risky occupation and you need to have enough knowledge about the currencies to trade them successfully.
