I first heard of Despicable Me on here back in 2010, but it didn't really interest me at the time and I shrugged it off. But it was within the last two years that the film was suggested to me, so I picked it up and gave it a whirl. I felt the film was a bit strange at first, but it quickly grew on me.

I was pretty much hooked by the trailers haha. It looked funny and I'm easily amused for the most part, with a strange/morbid sense of humor at times so I could appreciate it. To me it was just impossible not to like, though I know some aren't partial to it, and that's their opinion, they're entitled to it.

If you're the kind of person who enjoys comical characters and films, then it's hard to not love the minions! Of course the other characters have their moments too.

I had seen the trailers all over the place and everyone I knew was just buzzing about it. While my family and I were on vacation, we happened upon it playing on some channel. The story and the characters really hooked me. (And the second movie was even better!)

You know, it's odd in a way, but every time I find some movie I see trailers and advertising for, which my senses tell me I'm going to just hate, I usually (if perhaps not always) end up totally loving it.

Despicable Me was a definite case in point. I saw the trailers and thought "what a dumb idea...this looks like it's gotta suck." I really avoided it, and didn't bother to go to see it in the theater. It wasn't until a year later, maybe, that I finally decided to chance it, and I rented it through Redbox (I think). And fell in love. XD

This is how it's usually happens for me--with animated and live-action movies. A few examples would include Despicable Me, The Croods, Guardians of the Galaxy, Galaxy Quest, the Percy Jackson & The Olympian movies, etc.

I love the animation movie myself and I was searching some new amazing animation movie in the Youtube. Suddenly I have see the trailor and watch that one. Definitely was going to love Despicable Me. Now I am a big fan of Minions.

I was with my mom at the cinema. There was an ad trailer with minions. Something like tadatadatadatada banana, I laughed a lot. My mom felt confused, I guess.
P.s I stil scream 'bananaaaaa' every time hahah
