"The Lion Guard is a group of animals that protect the Pridelands from harm. They are made up of the bravest, fiercest, boldest, fastest and keenest of sight. My son Koman is the leader, and he is the fiercest because he has a gift called The Roar of the Elders," explained Rakhi. "He's currently off looking for other members to join his Lion Guard. Mufasa said something was coming. I can only hope the Lion Guard will be ready by then."

Meanwhile, Koman was out searching in the Pridelands. "Anyone here want to help protect the Pridelands?" he called. "Think you are brave? Fast? Strong? Keen of sight?"
He could hear Tawia in the background, also searching for members of the Guard.

Dhukiya looked at Damu and Bandia, and asked, 'Should we?'

'Yes, we are going, and sneaking in the Pride Lands!!!' Damu replied. 'Let's see how it looks, and also remember to take a look at the new Lion Guard!!!'

'Yes!' Dhukiya shouted in joy. 'Let us see the new guard with our own eyes!!! Oh, he'd be too scared when he sees us! Especially this me, Dhukiya! Has anyone even dared to mess up with me!? Those who did, are kicked out of the world!' She said as she laughed out loud, along with Damu. 'So, should we?' She asked.

'Yeah, let's!' Damu replied.

Koman tried to find other animals to be in the Guard, but no one was helping by saying they'd join. "Why won't anyone like to be in the Guard? I'm trying my hardest, but no one wants to join."
There was a rustling in the grass behind him.

'Because no one can defeat this Dhukiya! You haven't seen my power yet. We need to destroy this Lion Guard before they comes to their most powerful form! And for that, we need more members and perfect plans. Understood Bandia?'
And as Dhukiya looked around while walking, she couldn't find Damu. 'Now, where's this Damu gone? I think I haven't seen him since we sneaked the Pride Lands' border.'

In the meanwhile, Damu had gone too far for excitement. He spotted a brownish cub nearby, and tried to approach closer. But his paws made a rustling noise in he grass, and the cub looked back. He didn't see Damu, but Damu took no chance, and he growled and jumped on him. 'Growl!!! Tell me you stupid Pridelander, where is the King and where is this Lion Guard!?' He said.

'Arghh! Who are you?' Koman shouted, as he tried to get up. 'Get off from me!'

Dhukiya and Bandia heard them, and rushed to where that place was. 'Ah, Damu! You got someone? Who is he?'

Ukurugenzi was out playing with his sister when he heard Koman call out in surprise. "I wonder why he was doing this?"
He leapt in the direction of the sound and saw Koman pinned under a hyena.
"I'll help you Koman," he said.
He leapt at the hyena, but before he could reach them, Tawia already attacked the hyena. She fought him off of Koman whilst Uri ran quickly to help Koman to his feet.
