Hello fellow spinners!

As you all may know, I'm working on the Disney Television Animation book (with A LOT of Talespin in it!). During my research and all the interviewing, I get to network a lot and often get asked to perform other services for the people that I work with. For example: I'm digitizing pencil tests for people who worked in Feature Animation. Or....some interesting guy (who won't be named in this topic, but you know who!) wants me to get rid of his huge collection of movie memorabilia and animation stuff. So he's asking me to catalogue/photograph/digitize most of it and auction (or sell) it off.

No, you didn't read that part wrong. And I'm talking about A LOT of stuff. Scripts (packs! Not just 'a' script, but a pack containing things like the outline, notes, all the drafts), storyboards (usually copies, but still!), cels, unused materials (a few Don Rosa story outlines, most unused, for example), scripts for comics, etc.

I could just sell it off piece by piece on ebay, but I'd rather see it go to true fans and have most things (like a script pack, for example) together, instead of having it scattered all over the world in tiny bits. If anyone is interested, I'll have a list (e-mail only!) ready by the end of May and I ship it in June. So if anyone is interested, send me a pm!

I'm not a fan of selling all of this off, but when I'm asked, I'd rather see it go to you guys&gals instead of placing it all on ebay straight away.

-Tim

p.s.: please don't mention the name of the source in this topic. If anyone wants to discuss this, we can do it by pm.

Well, I'm interested in this stuff, but I can't buy it at this moment. Maybe try to buy that all collection and post the scans or photos of them in our site? Steet would be grateful for it :)

Wow... This is definitely interesting. And yeah, it'd be better if the fans could get them, instead of some avid people who'd want to get them only to sell them at a higher price.
To be honest, I don't know how much I could afford though. My money is all for living and develop my games currently, and you seem to say there'll be a ton of stuff.

In any case, in the end, it'd be awesome if we could get scans or pictures of these... It'd be a real shame to see all these get lost forever.

Ooooooo... I'm interested in seeing what you have in store. I do have images of certain materials that I have gathered (mainly because they usually disappear down the memory home ala Glenn W. Hill's "The Idol Rich" storyboard in Act I, Scene II) including some A Bad Reflection On You stuff (with a number of changes from the storyboard to the final product) among others. I don't have the actual materials, just the images. I'm interested in the memos and any cels/work from the overseas studios. Since I'm the webmaster for the Unofficial Kit Cloudkicker Homepage and the Rant Shack; my e-mail address is plastered on almost every page.

I'm currently working on commentary and editing of my reviews on TaleSpin and doing transcripts of the episodes (because Disney Captions did a horrible job, most so the Stormy Weather transcript). I am also updating various pages on the website, so until August of 2016; the UCKHP is out of retirement.
