Okay, I've seen this film many times and I always though it was sad when Koda is told about his mum's death by Kenai and I wanted to know if you found it sad too.

I agree. It had the same sort of effect as 'married life' in Up.

I don't know what it is, I don't ever cry during movies, but THAT part of the movie and Hachi: a Dog's tale made me cry, though Hachi had me sobbing the whole movie X3

I'm not saying it is as sad as Up. Just the same sort of style of telling something which is better done without lots of talking. I didn't cry ay BB but Up did get me crying.

Most certinally not the only one I saw it at the cinema and atleast half the people in their cried along with me.

It is definitely sad. I was watching the scene today and I can't imagine being in Koda's situation...
Throughout the entire movie he had hope that his mother would come meet him soon, and then he is told by someone he looks up to that she is not coming back. He's also just a cub.. Definitely sad...

Oh my god yes. That look on Kodas face tears me up everytime. And then Phil Collins comes in and makes it even worse lol.

It was sad but he did get to see her one last time that part to me was sad
